Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

I purchased this little pot on sale. It is made in Japan, and the quality is very good compared to cheap Chinese cast iron. This pot is perfect for my afternoon green or white brew, and my evening herbal tisanes. 21 oz. is the perfect amount for my solo tea time, and the basket is spacious enough for 4 tsps. of leaves. The matching cups and saucers are no longer available but as the gold is not bright, this little pot would pair nicely with plain black hobnail cups, saucers and trivet. A great buy at the sale price point. Sad to hear that Teavana is soon to be no more, despite some of their unsavory upselling, as they were my first introduction to better quality teas over 15 years ago.

      Love my Teapot and cups

Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

I purchased my Japanese Goldfish cast iron tea pot about a year ago and use it regularly at work. I fill it up with boiling water for approx. 30 seconds pour it out and fill again, add my tea and let steep. I put the pot on a cup warmer and the tea will stay warm for several hours. I love the teapot and it was well worth the investment.

Love my tea and cast iron teapot

      By DEA Loves TEA

Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

I love using the teapot. I'm a southern cook and very familiar with cooking with Cast Iron. I haven't seen anyone commenting on heating the teapot on the stove. I want to try it but don't want to ruin the finish on the outside. I'll keep looking for comments but I'll try it as well even if only to warm the pot. I have an electric stove but am interested also in gas cooking. I've also purchased a larger teapot (the imperial dragon) Can't wait to get it.

      Goldfish Teapot

      By Natalia_F

      from Orlando, FL

Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

I bought this tea pot at Teavana store located in local mall. I use it daily since, and really enjoy my tea time. Pot is very cute, not too big but holds enough liquid for me to have full experience. Tea stays hot in the tea pot for about 15-20 minutes, and gives the tea a good chance to give out all its flavor. Tea pot is very easy to maintain and clean. I also purchased a trivet, cups and matching coasters.

Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

I'm very new to drinking tea and decided to start drinking for the health benefits and to help with weight loss. I wanted something that would be durable and would last a lifetime and decided to invest in this teapot. I purchased the blue version and love it. I make enough tea for me and my daughter to sit and relax and talk. I have no regrets, and have grown to really enjoy my teatime.

Comments about Teavana Japanese Goldfish Cast Iron Teapot:

This is my first cast iron teapot & my first teapot with an infuser. I am very impressed with it! I've had mine for a year now & there is very little discoloration at the bottom of the teapot (but I think that could be from the tray that it's on - it's black & copper). It steeps perfectly each time, the handle does not get hot, and it's just a really pretty teapot! I'm very happy with it.
