This item is exactly as represented in the product description. I am using it with see-through glass teapots and it looks very attractive with those. It functions perfectly. A warmer is a nice step-up from lukewarm refills or microwave re-heating when entertaining a friend for tea.

Looks very nice, but unfortunately I never got to use it. I bought it from the store and as soon as I set it out for my Tea Party the whole side just chipped off. I understand if its supposed to be delicate looking, but I would be surprised if it could even hold a pot of tea with out shattering under its weight.
