Asahi Tea Tin

Comments about Teavana Asahi Tea Tin:

I love this tin and it is a nice addition to my already huge tea collection. The color, texture and overall look and feel is very pleasing. I received it as a gift from a friend and fellow Teavana tea enthusiast, filled with Citrus Lavender Sage tea leaves. (This tea, by the way, is awesome - fragrant and easy to drink.) Of course its paper-wrapped so one has to be careful not to get it too close to steam or water, but that's not an issue for me.

artistic, textured, black tea tin

By Mon

from London

Comments about Teavana Asahi Tea Tin:

This is a pricey tea tin, but after eyeing it for months I finally decided to purchase it on clearance at half price. Still, I'm taking off a star for the steep price.

This tin is wrapped in a kind of fabric paper from Japan. It's black-on-black design is sleek and modern. The textured surface is interesting to touch. It has a very "Zen" aesthetic to me.

The tin inside is basic, with a plastic air sealant to keep tea fresh.

Be sure you keep this away from water and moisture as the paper may peel off. Don't boil your tea water near this.

Overall, this tin adds to my tea drinking experience. I like the look, smell & taste of tea time to be a collective sensory delight!

Comments about Teavana Asahi Tea Tin:

So i got this in stores and it comes with a white wood box to hold the container in. "nothing expensive, you can tell its plywood do to its flimsy feel" but it looks nice. And thats what teavanna is about, looks. The only thing is, it has a strange smell from the rubber cap it has inside. Im sure if you leave it open for a few days it will air out.
