I consider myself a tea expert, as I have worked in a similar tea cafe for years and dabble in herbalism as well. I prefer medicinal teas and blends that offer cleansing benefits. I visited Teavana mostly to browse, at first I didn't find anything too extraordinary. By suggestion, I was shown this tea and instantly shrieked, "That one!" It smells like christmas, you could probably clear out your sinus cavity just from the whiff of it! I tried it as soon as I got home and instantly felt energized(which is saying a lot, as I have been immobile for over 6 months, diabetic and also a singer with a sore throat!) The combination of pepper/cloves/cinnamon/ginger is good for circulation, and the white tea gives it a really nice, delicate balance. I can't tolerate drinking chai on a regular basis, as the black tea is super dehydrating. Overall, this is a great tea that I am super impressed by. If you are looking for a tea you can drink anytime, or a cleansing tonic to help battle colds/improve circulation, this is definitely it!

This chai has a nice kick to it, but the cinnamon flavor overpowers everything else. I like chais where you can taste the individual spices, and although cardamom and clove are included in the ingredients I can't taste them at all (and cardamom is one of my favorite flavors so that disappointed me) OR taste the tea itself. The cinnamon also has a slightly fake aroma - some people have mentioned that the tea smells like red-hot candies, and to me that's an artificial scent. Even adding milk doesn't help. It just tastes like fake-cinnamon-flavored milk.

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
I got a huge tin of this tea (mixed with Samurai Mate) for my birthday and I'm going to need a refill really soon. Whenever I have friends over or feel like relaxing with a hot drink on a chilly day, I turn to this tea because it's the best. I love mixing it with almond milk and adding cinnamon so that it's like a chai latte. The only downfall is that you have to use a lot to get the rich flavor that I like. But that's okay because it is relatively cheap. I definitely recommend this for anyone. Even my friends who don't regularly drink tea love it.

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
I drink tea throughout the day with Thermax Thermos that I got from Teavana. The experience of this tea starts when I unscrew the top. The aroma hits other senses immediately after the smell. It's almost a feeling other than smell. Drinking it is like drinking a piece of candy. It is sweet, with cinnamon, pepper, citrus, and other flavors that I try to find on my own. It is a white tea that is great in the morning. It is a fun flavorfull tea.

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
I love this tea! I first tried it blended with the Samurai Chai Mate at our local Teavana store and loved that blend. The salesman then told me that while they sold the blend, he liked to buy the two teas separately and blend them according to the time of day himself (more mate in the morning, or whenever he needed a boost, and more, or all, white chai in the evening). I decided to do that. Now, the White Ayurvedic Chai has become a staple on chilly fall evenings for me... I adore it alone! Some have complained that the cinnamon is too much, but I love it that way! Besides, the tea still has a light taste to it because it's a chai made with white tea rather than traditional black. Even my husband likes it!

A mild tea body with good flavor but strong overpowering spice flavors. The cinnamon and cloves are very distinct in the flavor profile.

I sampled this tea in the store and thought it was so delicious! I ended up sampling it again remembering how much I liked it so I bought it. It's definitely a bold tea, very cinnamony. This would be a great tea for winter time or when it's cold out. I also think it would be a great gift but either way I love it. The flavors I got most from this tea are cinnamon & chai and it is slightly sweet on it's own. The only con I have (and only has to do with me haha) is I wish I could make it just as good as they make it in the store!

I enjoy this tea best if I combine it with the Samurai Chai Mate.
Drinking this solo I can only taste cinnamon and nothing else, unfortunately.

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
This is my go-to decaf tea. I love spicy teas, and this is a great alternative to a black chai. As a white tea, it has a weak flavor. The aroma is the key feature, and the very subtle spicy flavor comes second. I do not usually use sweetener in my teas because I prefer a refreshing, clean taste--which is what you get with this tea. Sweetener might add more body, if that's what you're looking for.
Great for a moment of peace and quiet, or as a comfort drink.

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
I ordered it once (20 OZ) and I certainly do not regret! It was my first tea ever that contained pepper, and it was a bit weird to get start with. But once I got used to it I got hooked. I drink like 1 CAN a day of this super tastefull tea. My friends liked the tea aswell and they even are no real "tea-drinkers"

Comments about Teavana White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
:
I really like this one. It reminds me of an orange cinnamon tea I used to drink. It has a definite cinnamon flavor. The only negative is minor: I'd prefer an even stronger cinnamon bite to it. When I like a flavor, I want it to be strong. Great tea, though!
