I understand that white teas are to be light, but they should also have some substance so that you are not just drinking expensive water.
Very Berry White Tea meets and exceeds all expectations and then gives the bonus, beautiful blush color to enjoy in a clear glass.
This is an amazing tea that I enjoy both warm and chilled. (I brew it hot, then allow to cool before refrigerating). I also add a tiny amount of rock sugar, which to me makes it PERFECT in every way.
The mix of white tea, fruity berries and the hint of floral is perfect, nothing overpowering. I now have a second white tea (besides Youthberry) that I feel is worth the price to order again and again.

Heavier flavor than I was expecting from a white tea. Compares favorably to most Black teas I've tried.

The problem with overflavoring white teas is that you don't get the savor of the tea itself, just the flavor overlays. This will be very nice chilled in the summer, but in the winter, when I need something "heavier," it just doesn't cut it.

I tried this blend because I love blueberries and grapes, and these fruits are the dominant flavor and blueberries the dominant scent of this lovely tea. I usually find white tea's distinctive fragrance comes through strongly with other blends, but in this one the main flavor is fruit with tea as a supporting player, which may not be to everyone's taste (but is to mine). The elderberries make the tea a little tart and I found I needed to sweeten it more than something like orange blossom herbal. (I used 1 tsp. per 8 oz glass of turbinado sugar.) I drink cold or iced tea, and found this very delicious and full-flavored cold. It would be good any time, but especially nice as a pick me up in the afternoon. I will definitely be buying this one again.

This was the first tea I ordered when the global treasures were announced and I knew the second I smelled it that I would love it. What I really love about this tea is that when they say its a white tea, it really is a white tea with other flavoring in it. It's not a bunch of herbs and berries with a couple of white tea leaves kinda-sorta floating around in there.
I brewed this with about 2 teaspoons of rock sugar and WOW it was delicious. Very rich and flavorful. It tasted like warm fruit juice but you could still tell it was a tea.
Absolute new favorite, and this is coming from someone who isn't usually a fan of fruity teas!

Wanted to try out the new teas...experiment with the formulas I like etc. I also like to see if I can get multiple infusions on my teas.
On this tea, there was a mysterious creamy taste I wasn't expecting...That was the Artificial Taste I noted in the Cons. I also was disapointed that I could only get 1 good infusion of the HOT tea.
I also brewed a batch of ICED tea in my Blue Infusion 24 ounce pitcher. Pretty much had the same taste.
Oh...and this is a BEAUTIFUL looking tea in the glass/mug! Georgous purple/blush color.
Would I buy this one again...probably not. But was happy to try it. Smells good in the can!
