Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

This is a chill relaxing tea, but can be too bitter at times. I mixed this with youthberry and pineapple kona pop, and it was terrible. Waaaaay too bitter. I will not mix it with anything ever again; however, it is a decent tea to drink alone.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

This is an interesting blend. A little bitter, but wonderful iced. It has a topnote of the cherries (not the sweet kind--like when you eat fresh cherries and get a bitter one that is still good) and a hit of bitter but ends with a silky white tea flavor. Not sure if I would buy again, but would recommend to others if they enjoy a slightly bitter cherry taste.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

I, like many others I assume, purchased this tea solely off of smell while in the shop. It smells great, and I could not place what that familiar smell was. Later determined it was a rainbow candy cane! but the taste was more like the other reviews say: cough drops/ chapstick. I tried several different ways to brew this hot but it ALWAYS came out bitter. So I cold brewed it in my fridge for a few days and it was not bitter at all but the same medicine flavor lingered (less so when cold, but i tried to heat it to test it)... maybe i will try cutting the tea with another or by adding more cranberries or cherries. idk, but I purchased 2oz. so i will play around with it since i have it but if i cant make it work i will never purchase this tea again. (probably not even then)

A must for proper brewing!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. I love this tea and have had it as a regular in my cupboard for over a year. The key is to brew it like a delicate white tea. It's a must to brew it at 175 degrees or less and steep it for only a minute or two. If you brew it too hot, it will get bitter. If you brew it too long, the fruit flavor will become exaggerated and unpleasant. If you brew it as intended, it's a delight!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

This tea makes me a bit sick to my stomach. I don't know if it is because of an ingredient or because it reminds me of being sick since it tastes just like cough drops or cold medicine. I hate to throw stuff away, but I might have to with this. Maybe the squirrels will like it though.

I wanted to love this tea, but couldn't get past the bitter taste. I asked a friend to try it, as I knew the flavor/smell reminded me of something - she nailed it....children's tylenol. I had to throw it out, I couldn't even tolerate the smell in my cupboard.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:

To me this tastes just like the cherry Luden's cough drops. I don't quite get the cough syrup flavor but I can see where they're coming from. It tastes ok initially but has a bitter aftertaste. I think in my case, I don't like the cranberries. I'm not a fan of cranberries but I can't be certain. Luckily I only got a cup of this so I wasn't out a ton of money. I can't recommend this one.

I first tried this tea when I went to Teavana and they had it out as a sample. The tea was brewed hot and mixed with the rooibos tropica. Oh man was it good. This was the tea that got me into hot teas. I make this by brewing boiling water, and adding five ice cubes in my perfect tea maker. Then I use three teaspoons of leaves and three teaspoons of rock sugar. Very delicious(:

The first time I smelled this tea I fell in love. I was completely taken aback by the bitterness my first taste brought. I thought maybe I had steeped it too long accidentally so I tried again but alas it's just how this tea is. I love it, though. The smell and taste of cherries is delightful. I've found that this tea might be my go-to iced tea because it is so much less bitter and soo yummy that way!
