This was my first Teavana purchase in several years and I am glad I chose this blend: the flavour is to die for. Although I drink my tea with raw sugar, I would gladly drink this tea without any sweetener. Most of the white teas by other companies are so "light" that one can hardly enjoy them but this tea has a good body to it and a flavour that lingers quite nicely. This is a tea that I will purchase again very soon. Cheers!

I have over 30 varieties of tea in my home, most of them green or white, and signed myself up for the White Tea of the Month club purposefully, in order to bite the bullet and see if there was anything else in Teavana's shop that I liked. I go to the store regularly and have made numerous online purchases beyond the tea of the month club, and I review almost every tea that enters my house. (No, seriously-- go look.)
I did NOT like Snow Geisha. I did not sample the 'first version,' as other reviewers have, but rather the latest version, which was included in my monthly box of tea. Let me tell you why, and why I gave it only one little Buddha.
The ingredients list, like all Teavana blends, is exciting. "White tea, cherries (with pits), rosehips, hibiscus blossoms, orange peel, apples, lemon peel, mango bits, pineapple pieces and rose petals." Of all of these, the chief ingredient, the white tea, is completely undetectable. The cherries, which I strongly suspect are candied, overshadow everything, in tandem with the apples, of which only the peel can be tasted. The rose petals are nonexistent, though a second brewing brings out the rosehips, which sadly do absolutely nothing for this brew. The overall taste is strongly astringent, not sweet so much as sharply sour-- between that and the smell of the cherries (which is the only detectable fragrance of the final pot), the summary impression is Robitussin cherry cough syrup.
The color is not the pale golden pictured above, but a vivid pinkish red. This reinforces the cough syrup impression.
The tea is not soothing or satisfying. Multiple brewings-- experiments with adding sugar, varying the amount of tea used, washing the leaves, reducing or increasing the water heat -- have not produced acceptable results. I like a cherry tea, and I keep the Wild Cherry Green Tea in the house. I do not like snow geisha; it is, in short, a hot mess and a waste of white tea leaves. It is, in fact, the only tea I have every purchased that I will not drink.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I wrote this review back in may but it never appeared so here goes it again.
This tea has a VERY strong Ludens cherry couch drop taste. It's artificial and fake tasting. It's so overwhelming that I can barely taste any other flavor coming through.
The new tea with the cherry undertones is much better! Sakura Allure Tastes great! Try that one instead.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I am new to the tea world. However, I purchased this tea today and love it. This is a light tea, so one can easily be disappointed if expecting a strong punch. Very cherry, but not too much. In reading other posts, I can see why the cherry can be too much. Over-all, love this tea and would recommend.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is the tea that began my addiction to Teavana! It is still my favorite...and I've tried almost all of the teas. The only negative thing I have to say is that they changed the blend a couple of years ago...I think so it would turn a reddish color when it brewed...and it was not NEARLY as good as the original Snow Geisha. I'm so glad they brought back the original...it doesn't brew cherry red...but the taste is the most wonderful and unique cherry flavor. LOVE it!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea seems underrated on here to me. I love this flavor. It has a really amazing smell and taste. I also discovered it is great for mixing - has saved several teas that are not my favorites alone. It is a bit subtle on it's own, but I really like it.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I love this tea, and the second or third steep produce equally unique flavors. The cherry really is the dominant flavor, but only at first. by the end you get a nice floral and white tea flavor with nice layers of fruit.
My biggest complaint is that the floral flavors are simply not present enough.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I loved the smell of this tea in the store so I picked some up even though I'm not usually a big fan of white tea. I like this tea a lot. I wanted to mix it with something that would add some caffeine so I mixed it with Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate and it was amazing! It also mixes very nicely with Strawberry Lemonade. Both mixes seem to do very well on multiple brewings, my favorite being the second brew.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was a truly complex, heightened flavor experience. The tea itself was easy to taste and great in quality, and the added flavors are intense, but pleasing. Take your time when you taste it, as the flavors are complex and bear a second or third consideration.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was my first Teavana tea purchase...a couple of years ago. It is still my favorite tea. I enjoy it hot and as an iced tea. As a hot tea, it is soothing and a nice relaxer at the end of the day. As an iced tea, it is light, refreshing and slightly fruity. A good all purpose tea that should be a staple for any tea lover.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
When the sale person had me smell this tea, I was in haven. The smell of it made me want to buy it right away. But I only bought 2 ounces because it was pricey and it was a flavor I never tasted. I made the tea with my One Touch Tea Maker, and after tasting it, I wished I didn't waste my money. There's an after taste, that reminds me of old cherry candy. It's the worst tea I've ever had so far. The types of flavors I like are, Blackberry Mojito, Blue Berry Bliss, Strawberry Lemonade. So when I saw that this tea had cherries, I thought this would work out for me but it didn't.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I agree with several of the above comments. This tastes like cherry cough syrup. I love cherry flavor and cherries themselves but this missed its mark. I taste the white tea and cherry but it is bitter and I wish I would have tried it in the store before I purchased it. I'm not very happy with this one...
