This was my first Teavana purchase in several years and I am glad I chose this blend: the flavour is to die for. Although I drink my tea with raw sugar, I would gladly drink this tea without any sweetener. Most of the white teas by other companies are so "light" that one can hardly enjoy them but this tea has a good body to it and a flavour that lingers quite nicely. This is a tea that I will purchase again very soon. Cheers!

I have over 30 varieties of tea in my home, most of them green or white, and signed myself up for the White Tea of the Month club purposefully, in order to bite the bullet and see if there was anything else in Teavana's shop that I liked. I go to the store regularly and have made numerous online purchases beyond the tea of the month club, and I review almost every tea that enters my house. (No, seriously-- go look.)
I did NOT like Snow Geisha. I did not sample the 'first version,' as other reviewers have, but rather the latest version, which was included in my monthly box of tea. Let me tell you why, and why I gave it only one little Buddha.
The ingredients list, like all Teavana blends, is exciting. "White tea, cherries (with pits), rosehips, hibiscus blossoms, orange peel, apples, lemon peel, mango bits, pineapple pieces and rose petals." Of all of these, the chief ingredient, the white tea, is completely undetectable. The cherries, which I strongly suspect are candied, overshadow everything, in tandem with the apples, of which only the peel can be tasted. The rose petals are nonexistent, though a second brewing brings out the rosehips, which sadly do absolutely nothing for this brew. The overall taste is strongly astringent, not sweet so much as sharply sour-- between that and the smell of the cherries (which is the only detectable fragrance of the final pot), the summary impression is Robitussin cherry cough syrup.
The color is not the pale golden pictured above, but a vivid pinkish red. This reinforces the cough syrup impression.
The tea is not soothing or satisfying. Multiple brewings-- experiments with adding sugar, varying the amount of tea used, washing the leaves, reducing or increasing the water heat -- have not produced acceptable results. I like a cherry tea, and I keep the Wild Cherry Green Tea in the house. I do not like snow geisha; it is, in short, a hot mess and a waste of white tea leaves. It is, in fact, the only tea I have every purchased that I will not drink.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I have seen reviews saying this tea has that cough drop cherry flavor. I disagree, if you brew it correctly and make sure when scooping the tea that its not all dried cherries its fine. Also I would not recommend adding any suger to this tea as it already has a sweet under tone. Very pleasent taste and great clean finish to it. Since its made with white tea the fruits do dominate the taste. I will be adding this one to my perminant collection.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Just opening the container, smelling the amazingly floral and strong tea aroma makes my day better. I never use any sweetener in tea so this may be too strong for some, but if you really love the taste of tea with subtle hints of rose then this is for you.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This tea is truly one of Teavana's all-time best. It was one of the first teas that I've ever purchased from their stores. Boy, I was hooked when I sampled it's aroma; very fragrant and floral with a nice, full body... Of high quality and this makes a great gift. I tend to keep a large stock of it so I don't run out... excellent stuff!!!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Personally, the best tea I've ever had. The combo of the rose with cherry gives it a floral flavor, with a fruity aftertaste. Makes for a nice balance of flavor. Wonderful aroma that picks you up in the morning and soothes you at night.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This was the first tea from Teavana that I had the pleasure of trying. Since it was my first time, I had trouble brewing it properly, so it was bitter at first, but once I got the hang of it, it quickly became one of my favorite teas. I always have to keep a close eye on it though because it can easily over-brew. It has a great aftertaste, unforgettable, and I'll definitely keep it in my collection. :)

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Snow Geisha and Youthberry are by far my favorite teas that Teavana carries! Snow Geisha is so delightfully fragrant and fruity! It is not even slightly artificial as some have said in my opinion. It tastes exactly like the fresh cherries you buy at the grocery store in the produce section!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
Reading others' reviews, I think the negatives come from tea drinkers and purists whose tastebuds are more sensitive compared to other people's. However, if you're a culinarily unrefined, sugar-luvin shlub like me who WANTS a cherry tea to slap you in the mouth with the unmistakable flavor of cherry, then by all means try this! (Just for reference, it smells much stronger as a tea leaf than it translates once brewed.) It's decadent when paired with the Slimful Chocolate Decadence Oolong, but also stands alone well. It's a gorgeous pink color too, so bust out your best clear glassware for this one!

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
I was surprised this tea wasn't rated higher on here. I have to say this is such a tasty tea! I use the rock sugar in my tea and I do put in an extra 1/2 teaspoon in this tea. I also put a teaspoon of Silver Yin Zhen Pearls in this tea.
If you like the taste of ludens cherry drops, you'll like this tea.
This tea is tempermental. I steep it for less time than I usually steep my flavored white tea. I usually do 2 minutes TOPS! Make sure your water isn't too hot too. It'll be bitter if you over steep.

Comments about Teavana Snow Geisha® White Tea:
This is a very cherry flavored tea. Be sure to brew it the 2 min it says on the bag label and not 5 min that the catalog says for all flavored white teas. If brewed too long it is bitter and overly cherry. Not my favorite but...
Too fruity for my taste.
