...a delicious tea that one can surrender to...
I am a tea lover--I've been drinking loose leaf tea for more than ten years--and have become somewhat of a snob when it comes to the delicate body embedded in fine quality teas. While I often shop at Teavanna, I will admit that many Teavanna teas seem to fall short of my expectations. Scarlet Cloud, however, is consistently amazing. I was first introduced to this blend when I purchased a cup of tea while shopping. It was okay (good enough for me to want to pick up two ounces of tea for home), but I was not overly impressed. That said, once home, I brewed the tea a little stronger than suggested. Instead of 1.5 tsp per cup, I use 2 tsp. I believe that the bulkier fruits in this tea require a little more tea per cup for a good flavor. I brew for the suggested time--2 minutes--and have yet to be disappointed. While some may feel that adding a little more tea to your pot is wasteful, it really isn't, since you can brew a second pot (or cup) by simply adding a half teaspoon of tea to your infuser. In the end, still a great deal and never a disappointment! My favorite time to drink this tea is on the weekends--I surrender to a pot of Scarlet Cloud on a quiet Saturday afternoon with a novel, or over a late Sunday brunch in the garden (I'm looking forward to warmer spring days soon!).

The description of this tea excited me, as I love fruit and mint flavors. However, the final brewed product is a bit disappointing. It's very weak and I can barely taste the mint or fruit. I'll drink what I have, but I won't be buying this tea again.

This tea should be called Minty Scarlet Cloud. The first and most powerful aroma that hit my nose was the overpowering mint....so much so that the other aromas are lost in the minty-ness. My expectations were a hint of mint to a tea that as stated was SUPERFRUIT ENHANCED. But alas, any blackberry or raspberry aroma/flavor is lost on me.
When I want a minty tea, I will drink it, just didn't meet my expectations.

When I opened the tea cannister(it was a gift), the aroma was very appealing and the chunks of fruit gave me a good vibe. Once brewed, it was weak tasting and the mint overpowered the fruit, so I brewed it again with double the tea, with the same result.
I don't mind teas with a lighter taste(see my review on the Fruitto White tea), but this was just too weak, even for white tea. I won't be buying this again unless Teavana fixes the forumla a bit to enhance the fruit and tea flavor.

I like being able to blend this tea with store bought black tea bags. It blends very nicely. This tea also works great iced, which is how I drink it 90% of the time. I do wish that it had more caffeine.

This tea is amazing with some Tupelo honey. I was looking for new tea and came upon this by the worker, who has similar taste. She told me to try this with a bit of honey and so I trusted her and shelled out 20 buck for the honey and [$] for the tea. Wow. I can't believe how delicious this is hot and cold. But because of the sale, I was able to stock up on 4 ounces for 75% off the original price. A must buy.

I just received 2oz of this tea in the mail today, and while I was kind of afraid that I wasn't going to like it because the aroma is rather minty and vegetal(I bought it on a whim because it was on sale), I actually rather like it. It has very subtle flavors so it's hard to really pick out any of the fruits (though the peach comes through in the aftertaste), you can tell it does indeed have fruit because it's sweeter than plain white tea. I really couldn't taste the mint, though, but the tea has a distinct vegetal white tea taste under the fruit. This tea is really light so you get a lot for 2oz (when I poured mine into a 5oz tin it almost filled it up), so it'll be nice to have around for when you're relaxing and just want something light and sweet.

Unfortunately this tea was much too weak for my taste. You won't taste any fruit past the mint flavor but if combined with a stronger, fruitier tea, it will add a fresh flavor.

I was browsing for some new tea in the Teavana that's in our mall, and I told one of the guys what kind of tea I liked. He brought out some of the tins for me to smell and I was highly intrigued by Scarlet Cloud. He told me what was in it and when he did I was even more intrigued. So I decided to buy a little trial bag to see if I liked it. I immediately tried it when I got home and when I did I couldn't believe it. The tea was so amazing. The peach and the berries blended so well together. I've never drank anything like that before in my life. It raised the bar in tea quality. It was simply magical! I always make sure there is Scarlet Cloud tea in stock in my tea cabinet. I simply cannot live without it.

I got this in the Tea of The Month subscription. It has a lot of fruit pieces in it, which I generally love. The aroma was very minty as was the taste. I don't know if it was just too much mint or if it was overpowering.
Still very tasty, I enjoy mint teas. I just expected a bit more fruit.
