Light and flowery, this tea is naturally sweet. It is great alone or when blended with the Go Go Goji white tea. When served hot, the natural sweetness of the tea makes any additional sweetener unnecessary. When iced, it tastes best when *slightly* sweetened. This tea is best for people who prefer sweet, light, and floral tastes. If there is a store near you, I recommend smelling it, as it smells exactly as it tastes. It is also not very fruity, which means you get to taste the white tea more and it is not overpowered by an overly sweet fruit taste. This is one of the best teas I've purchased from Teavana.

At the time I made my first ever review below I had ordered more Lavender Dreams tea. When I got it the tea was totally different!
The ingredients from the label of the previous is:
White tea, lavender blossoms, candied violets and flavoring.
In this tea there are NO other flowers or fruit much less carrots(?).
The new Lavender Dreams white tea says:
White tea, candied violet flowers, lavender blossoms, apples, raisins, papaya bits, peach pieces, orange peels, carrot slices, verbena, pink rose buds, cornflowers and passion flower blossoms.
Obviously they look and smell different and keeping an open mind, I tried a cup of this new tea.
It is ok but if I had wanted fruit flavored tea I would have ordered it.
I really, really love the original LDWT and when I e-mailed a request to return this (no problems) I asked and was told this was the new receipe. No going back. :(
Now where am I going to get this favorite of mine?

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
The clerk at the store warned me to steep the tea for only a minute at a time until I find the just right strengthh for me. I took her advice and steeped for about two min. total. I found it to have a lasting sweet aftertaste. Very aromatic, which actually caused a bit of a headache because I am very sensitive to smell. I'll probably steep for one min. only next time as the tea got stronger the longer it sat even without the tea leaves in it.

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
I enjoy this tea by itself when I really need to relax. I did find that if I mix it with Monkey Picked Oolong, I can enjoy an afternoon of relaxation. The Oolong has just a hint more caffeine on the first pot, but since the lavender is so powerful, it can be brewed over and over all afternoon and evening--and you don't have to worry about it keeping you up all night either!
I do recommend brewing it in a Cast Iron pot!! It is so much tastier!

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
Ok, so to be honest, I'm not a big fan of floral teas. However, I bought this one for my mum-in-law for Christmas and had a cup with her. It's definitely very floral and soothing, but what clinched me was the COLOR of the tea... it was this soft, beautiful dove grey with the faintest tint of lavender. I'd never seen tea that color before! So anyhoo, since I'm not a fan of floral teas in general, I won't hold it against Teavana... just wanted to give kudos to the artistic nature and beauty of the tea itself.

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
I am an Earl Grey fan and was hooked on Earl Grey Creme coupled with Rose Marzipan (discontinued). After crying real teas, I asked my local Teavana for advice on what to drink to replace my lost flavor. One salesperson suggested Zingiber Ginger Coconut with the Earl Grey Creme, but her manager said "NO, she'll want something floral to replace the rose" and she suggested Lavender Dreams. So here it is:
2 parts Earl Grey Creme
1 part Zingiber Ginger Coconut
1 part Lavender Dreams
NIRVANA!!! Is it wonderful! what a great combination. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
I buy a lot of Teavana teas and I generally like them, but this is the only tea that I threw out. To me, it was like drinking a Lavender water and I was unable to enjoy the taste of the white tea. If you really want to taste Lavender and nothing else, it might suit you better, but if you really want to enjoy white tea also, I would not recommend the tea. Lavender used in this tea was pretty good quality.

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
I am a night shift nurse in WA that hasn't been sleeping well lately. Shifting my schedule from days to nights and back again has really messed up my sleep ability. Over the past weeks I haven't been able to sleep longer than 4-5 hours of bad sleep. Enter, Lavender dreams. I drink it about 10-15 mins before I go to sleep, I am sleeping 7.5 hours a night and feel SO relaxed and rested when I wake up. Well done Teavana, now to get some more!

Comments about Teavana Lavender Dreams® White Tea:
I wanted to like this tea, I really wanted to like it, because floral teas are my favorite. For a while I had trouble sleeping, and the Tranquil Dreams tea seemed to help a bit. I adore the Tranquil Dreams chamomile and wanted another good tea to to have at night for some variation. I love the the way lavender smells, but the taste leaves something to be desired for sure. It's not just that I learned I dislike the taste of lavender but also it was the fact that lavender was all I tasted. If you like the taste of perfume.... excuse me lavender then you will like this tea.
