I am in love with all things açaí.
This beautiful balance of berries and light, crisp white tea is a tea lover's dream come true. It is a must try, you'll be hooked. Just be sure to brew it for the intended time and temperature, lest you ruin a perfect cup and end up with a bitter tea. The aroma upon opening the canister is intoxicating. I am off to the tea kettle now!

I prefer this tea more as an add-on than by itself because it is quite strong for my tastes. The berries are high quality and have a very solid taste, but need a decent amount of sugar to keep the sour flavor down.
I wish I could taste the tea more, but it is white tea, so it's to be expected. I like to add this to Gyokuro that's already been steeped once. Gyokuro will gladly take over any tea.
I drink it when I want something nice and sweet. It's better iced than hot, but works either way. Most refreshing in the supper time.

This is one of my first tea that I tried. After trying several others, I always couldn't wait until I finish that flavors/blends, so I can go back to my imperial acai! Like now :)

Comments about Teavana Imperial Acai Blueberry White Tea:

I am a lifelong tea drinker. I grew up on all-natural loose leaf herbal, medicinal, and leisure teas. A friend begged me to try Teavana, so I did. Teavana's Imperial Acai Blueberry tea does not have a balanced flavor profile. I do realize that berry teas have to be brewed with care and attentiveness, but I usually drink another brand of loose leaf blueberry white tea and Teavana's version pales in comparison to it. Also, Teavana's tea is artificially flavored. I am HUGELY disappointed in this. I am an all-natural kind of foodie and it was disappointing that they added something unnatural to what could have easily been kept pure. I will be returning the Imperial Acai Blueberry White Tea. I may try their Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls Green Tea or the Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea, since it appears that those are all natural. To me, adding artificial flavoring to tea negates the healing and wellness virtues that it naturally has.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Acai Blueberry White Tea:

This tea is extremely bitter. If you brew it for a very short period of time at the right temperature it isn't as bad, but the finish still remains bitter. Some other teas are a little more forgiving in the way that you brew it but this one isn't. I was very disapointed because the tea really smelled so good in the store. I agree with some others in that it is a little better cold rather than hot but in the end it's just not the tea for me.

this tea is aromatic and lovely. its light, refreshing and tastes great iced. the only problem? the blueberry flavor could shine through a bit more. other than that its great, dont let that deter you from purchasing, its a great tea and does taste of blueberries, I'd just like it to taste a bit more like them.

The first cup I made was so bitter that I had to throw it out, even with added honey (not something I usually do). I thought that I brewed it too long, but no luck. Even brewed at exact temperature for the minimum suggested time, the flavor that comes through is spoiled. It is so bad I'm wondering if something is wrong with what I was sent!

Comments about Teavana Imperial Acai Blueberry White Tea:

I've been trying to drink more tea but tend to be picky. I really enjoyed this, though, and have repurchased it several times off another site, where they also sell it. It's fruity enough for me but without being all fruit and nothing else. The white tea added is lovely, and the smell is like a small slice of heaven. Even my partner, who usually dislikes any kind of tea, enjoys a cup of this now and then. I definitely recommend not oversteeping or making the temp too hot, as it definitely becomes too bitter. It takes practice getting the hang of it. I also enjoy mixing this with their Blueberry Bliss. It's not the top-fave, but definitely top-ranking so far. I just wish the artificial flavoring wasn't there, but it's not too detectable. I also wish the price were a bit lower, which seems to have gone up since the last purchase by a couple of dollars. Because of the price hike and the lack of contents in my wallet, I may have to reconsider the next purchase and move onto something less expensive.

I have tried this tea several times, I have tried different lengths of time for brewing and amounts of tea I use to brew. It is the most bitter undrinkable tea I have drank. I wish I could like it, because it smells so wonderful, but good it is not- unfortunately.

I was absolutely disgusted with this tea. My friend and I actually steeped it at different intervals; 30 secs, 1 min, 2 min, 3 mins. At 3 minutes, it was really strong, tasted like meat and was just not refreshing at all. We both had to drink something else right away to get the awful taste out of our mouthes. The 30 second one was weak and not as bad as 3 minutes. I don't think I'll be drinking it again, though. I actually gave my 50 grams away.
