I'm obsessed with Rooibos tea, especially when mixed with chai. That said, I was initially disappointed with this tea. Pre-brew, I thought the tea smelled too bitter/spicy--that was the lemongrass and ginger coming through. And once brewed--I followed the suggested brew guidelines--I still didn't love it. The tea tasted alright, smooth and spicy, but there was an aftertaste or something, and none of the usual sweet, mellow, earthiness I love about Rooibos teas. Anyway, I always give tea 2 or 3 attempts, so I brewed a new cup. And then I forgot about it for like 20 minutes. And my oh my, was that forgotten tea delicious! I've since found that this tea benefits from a longer brew time (10+ minutes) and is best when drunk just above room temperature. While I won't stop my quest for the perfect Rooibos chai tea, this tea has satisfied my Rooibos chai cravings.

I tried the sample at the Teavana store. I was amazed at how great it tasted. I've never liked hot tea, but this was a total game changer. I eventually walked around with the salesperson, trying all the different samples they had ready. I enjoyed every one of them. I love this one the most. It's my absolute favorite so far. I am a huge cinnamon junkie so this really hit the spot. The only thing I've done differently at home is I use honey with the rock sugar simply because when I drink tea and being from the south, it has to have sweetness. I've made this pretty much every single day and I don't share it with anyone. I'll drink the whole pitcher by myself. I'm excited to continue on my tea journey!

At first I didn't like this tea at all. Brewed it with good results; had no issues getting great color and strong flavor/aroma. The flavor tasted odd to me, at first. I'm not sure if it's the rooibos or the particular blend of chai, or the two together, but it took some getting used to. As life would have it, I ended up getting distracted and my tea got cold, and THAT is when I discovered this tea's true potential. This tea is FAR better cold than it is hot. As it cooled it went from being "weird but alright" to "still strange but good" to "novel and delicious". I DID add some sugar, as well.

I enjoy drinking this in the evening. The aroma and flavor is great and soothing with a lot of spice. If you enjoy Chai tea, you may enjoy this one also.

This tea is very good. Very soothing. I like to drink it in the morning because it gets me going in the morning just like coffee. This does have kind of a strong cinnomon taste and lemongrass. So if you arent fond of those then you probably wont like this tea. If anyone is looking for a stronger tea because i know some people say its too weak. If so then try, Maharaja Chai Oolong Tea. This is a spicey tea. Dont put a lot in your tea or your gonna have a spicey mouth. I hope this helped.

This is my favorite tea. It's great anytime of day. It's got a great flavor, plenty of spice without being overwhelming. Brew with some german rock sugar for a delightful cup of tea.

I thought this tea smelled great when I opened it! :) But, to be honest, I didn't think it was amazing, although I really don't have a strong passion for chai. That's probably why, but out of all the chai tea's I've had, this was by far the best! It is a smooth tea with a lot of spice. I personally think this tea is much better when you add milk to it after it has finished steeping. :)

I really love this tea. It is especially good with a few rocks of the German Rock Sugar, as it really brings out the flavors. This is a mellow, slightly spicy tea (not too overwhelming) and the fact that it's caffeine-free makes it a great choice anytime, particularly in the evening.
