I was drawn to this tea because I love Cabernet Sauvignon. I thought it would be a really cool flavor profile for a tea. The rooibos definitely takes a back seat - at quick glance it looks more like a fruit based herbal tea. Brewed, it becomes too flowery and sweet between the notes that are way more wine-like. It's got the grape flavor at first, followed by it being overpowered by hibiscus, and it finishes off with a smooth vanilla flavor. Cooled off, the hibiscus becomes less prominent, but sadly so do a lot of the flavors that made me enjoy this tea. I think even a quarter less hibiscus flowers in this tea would really improve upon it. Usually I enjoy hibiscus, but there are so many interesting things going on with this tea that it takes away from the experience - Cabernet is not typically a sweet wine anyway.

Tea tastes okay. Thought it tastes very similar to grape Kool-aid. Thought I was paying too much for something I could buy for less at the grocery store. Then thought to myself well I guess it is tea and healthier for you versus kool-aid. It does not taste bad. I just would not repurchase this.

This is my favorite tea from Teavana right now! I have recently become obsessed with tea thanks to this one. I have avoided tea because the "tea" I tried was so bland and boring, this is NOT the case with Opus Rouge! It has a lot of flavor and is wonderful iced. I find I can steep this at least 3 times with great flavor (and color)! It's good blended with Sweet Fruit Garden herbal tea for an added flavor punch.

I bought this tea on a lark the last time I was in my local store. The aroma of the tea is something akin to bubblegum which flavor the brewed product retains...not to its credit. The flavor is also very artificial on the pallet and falls off rapidly instead of being the luscious product that is advertised. All in all not my cup of tea, but it is inexpensive so I'm not all that disappointed.

I just got this tea today and i was so happy that they had this to sample in my local store. I feel in love with this tea as soon as i smelled and tasted it. It smells like really good fresh grape juice and taste like a sparkling grape juice. I have to say this is one of my absolute favorite tea's now.

I bought this tea and Citrus Lavendar Sage tea after tasting a tea made with Citrus Lavender Sage/Opus Rouge Tea Blend. I bought them separately just in case there is a time when I don't want to mix the two teas. They both smell heavenly!! and taste wonderful!!! I am buying more!!

Whenever I drink this tea; I always feel happy afterwards. I always can get at least two to three steepings from it. It has a full body and can be a bit tart without a bit of sugar. It blends well with any citrus herbal tea.

I happen to be one of those tea drinkers who really likes sweet teas. I have tried the Sevenberry Sangria and it's a great tea, but its a little on the tart side which is fine, but I prefer this tea. It has a very unique flavor, and you can really taste a beautiful combination of vanilla and fruit in this tea. I have not tried blending it with anything, but I will have to do some experimenting being that I really must say this is one of my favorite teas.

Very red fruity flavor with a touch of vanilla and citrusy end, sometimes reaching the artificial taste. If you love red fruits this is the tea for you.
