Ridiculously sweet and chocolatey, perfect dessert tea. The chocolate is strong and smooth, but the coconut flavor comes through as well making this quite a delicious treat. It tastes amazing with a touch of milk. Only con would be I can see it being too sweet if you're not a fan of chocolate, but highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth!

I was looking for a new chocolate tea and was so excited when Teavana came out with a chocolate oolong. I love oolong. I went and picked up a couple ounces of this and it smelled amazing, stronger than I was expecting. I could smell the chocolate right away; when you brew it, you smell more of the coconut. It tastes equally of chocolate and coconut.
Overall I liked this tea. It's good for those of us who love sweets, but what it lacked was complexity. When I pay this much money for tea, I like it to have a little more depth to it.
Some may love it - it's a good quality tea - however, it just wasn't quite for me.

This was the first Teavana tea we made and we LOVE it! It has the benefits of Oolong - helping your body to burn fat for energy and not store the fat you eat - and the great aroma and flavor of chocolate. I drink it with no sugar and love it. It makes my body shut up when I'm craving something sweet after dinner but I also enjoy it in the morning. The coconut and ginger in it are SO GOOD! Love it! It tastes great with a vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, if you want to go wild.

Everything to be said about this lovely tea has already been said in previous comments. I would only add that, with the addition of German rock sugar and the Snow Geisha white tea, this transforms into a choco-coconut-cherry wonder that rivals the richest desserts, and it's guiltless and good for you! You'll be a hero gifting this to any chocoholics you know, as well as any ladyfriends suffering PMS. *wink wink*

I saw this tea in a mail promotion and out of curiosity I looked at the tea online. I saw chocolate, coconut, and rose in the ingredients list and knew I had to try it. I LOVE it! It really was like drinking chocolate coconut cake (my batch was particularly coconutty). I usually drink my tea straight up, so I can only imagine how it tastes with milk and sugar!

OMG! I forgot I had a sample of this and just tried it yesterday! I couldn't stop thinking about it all day long! I'm sitting in my living room waiting for the mall to open so I can purchase a pound. One of my new FAVS!

This tea is just absolutely wonderful. I love the flavors to it, and both the taste and smell make me think of an Almond Joy. The first cup I made was a little too sweet (went overboard with the sugar), but I mixed in some My Morning Mate, and it toned down the sweetness while bringing out a new depth to the flavor. The sweet spiciness of the MMM brought out the great coconut flavor of the SCD. As someone of Hawaiian descent, it made me think of spending my childhood with my Grandma at the Hawaiian festivals eating haupia. For those who may not know what haupia is, it is a coconut flavored rice pudding. Just amazing and this tea has quickly become a favorite every time I have a sweet tooth. I'll have to get back to you about the weight loss part of it, but I have noticed I'm not snacking as much lately.

I checked my water temp, timed my steeping, yet I got a fairly bland cup of tea. The only flavor note I pick up is a mild hint of coconut. I do agree with the other reviewers in that it needs very little sweetener, but flavorwise, it's just not there. I will try a little more tea in the steeper next cup, and see if it's any better.

This tea was better than dessert. All of the flavor none of the calories. I don't think any tea will taste like real chocolate; however, this tea does taste like white chocolate. It is the most delicious of all the "chocolate" teas that I've tasted. I waited for an after taste but it remained smooth and sweet from start to finish. The first sip literally stopped me in my tracks. This tea is incredibly delicious. It also has the added benefits of oolong teas.

This is my favorite Teavana blend, hands down. The moment I smelled it in the store, I fell in love with it. The flavor is very rich and satisfying, and you don't need to add much sugar. If you find that it's too sweet, I've found that mixing it with My Morning Mate gives it a spicier kick that rounds out the sweetness and adds to the chocolate flavor. A must-have for any chocoholic, and a great, healthy replacement for hot chocolate in the wintertime!
