I wasn't excited about this tea the first time I tried it. The fruit and citrus overpowered the Oolong. I didn't even want to try the 3rd and 4th steep (which is usually when the Oolong starts to open up and generally considered the best brews). It was OK at most and I didn't plan on buying again. However, my second brew, I decided to try the 3rd & 4th steep. To my surprise! The herbal citrus, fruit notes tone down and the smooth citrus of the Oolong unravels. The slight spice, the smooth sweetness & citrus tastes wonderful with just a little rock sugar. I am quite pleased and drink it regularly now :)

I tried this tea originally because I got Utopian Jewel and loved it, but wanted to expand my horizons. I've just found this tea TOO fruity for me. I've tried different steeping times to bring out the tea flavor, and I've found that it ends up too weak or bitter. It's not a bad tea, but it's not the right fit for me.

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
The flavour is great, until you get to the cinnamon taste. It is not something that I would pair with tropical fruits and I don't feel it goes well at all. the cinnamon takes away from what would be an excellent fresh and vibrant tea.

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
This tea was just okay for me. It was a little weak in the flavor department. However, I did blend it with my Anjou Pear-adise oolong tea and it was flavorful.

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
I love his tea! It needs no sugar or honey which makes it very convenient. If you like your tea sweet and/or fruity, this tea is great for you. If you would prefer it to be a bit lighter on the flavor or a bit less fruity, I would suggest adding fewer fruit pieces and more oolong leaves.

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
It tastes amazing, if you like fruity things then this tea is for you! The taste is not over powering at all and I love the hints of the different fruits as I drink it. I usually add sugar to my teas, but since the falvors are so amazing I didn't need to add anything! I can't wait to try Teavanas other teas. :)

This is not a good replacement for Sweet Oolong Revolution. It's too fruity. I no longer have a reason to go into Teavana.

I very much enjoy the slight energy boost along with comforting stomach aid. As a GERD sufferer, this tea seems to promote overall well-being for my insides.
Haven't found one that compares!

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
I go to the Teavana store almost every day on my break at work, and have the chance to try a lot of the different teas. This one really stood out, especially as one of the less expensive teas. When I first tried it, the smell was like some familiar candy that I couldn't quite place, and the flavor of the tea itself was so wonderful that I ended up buying a half pound of the leaves. My only warning is that it gets very bitter very quickly if you steep it too long (I only had to make that mistake once). This was so good that even my mother, whose interest in tea usually begins and ends at southern iced tea, said she loved it.

Comments about Teavana Kamiya Papaya Oolong Tea:
Overall it's a pretty good tea. The hints of cinnamon do pop, and while it is fruity in taste, not specifically papaya.
