I had gotten into the habit of drinking a cup of Utopian Jewel every morning when I woke up. It was the fresh, fruity kick I needed to start my day. I love oolongs, and I really appreciate the health benefits. When they discontinued Utopian Jewel, all I could hope for was a new tea that would make a worthy replacement, and this is the one! I would even argue that I like it a little more. The pear is subtle, but it's a fun twist. The added fruit packs a punch, but it doesn't totally overwhelm the oolong.

When I first opened the packaged I smelled more banana than pear (despite banana not being an ingredient or flavour in this tea).
To me the taste is off a bit, not quite pear. It also needs a bit of sweetener to bring out the fruity taste.
I find it leaves an unpleasant after taste.
Overall it is still a satisfactory tea, but probably will not purchase again.
Could be used as hot or iced tea.

The tea is weak in pear flavour and lacks a full bodied tea flavour. The fruit taste is weak and is easily over powered by the oolong.

I am new to drinking teas and this was my first oolong tea. It was so delicious that I had to get some more asap. My teenager enjoyed it as well.

This is a wonderful little brew. It even takes a second brewing well. The pear flavor fades a little in the second brewing, but the oolong flavor makes up for it. It's just sweet & fruity enough to be fun, but not to make it taste like Kool-Ade. I carry a tin of this with me in my purse all the time.

I'm newer to tea. I'm a die-hard coffee drinker, well I WAS. Since I've been turned on to Teavana I've only had 2 cups of coffee! This lovely pear tea is delicious both cold and hot. It is fruity and fresh - very refreshing. I can't get enough!

This is one of my staples

This is one of the teas that I always have around the house. It's perfect for every occasion. I mostly use it as a dessert or after meals tea because its very sweet, but at the same time light.

I've gifted this to several people and I've heard countless positive reviews from tea drinkers, and non-tea drinkers. It's also opened some of my friends minds and palates to more of teavana's teas.

I would highly recommend this for people who are new to tea and those who are enthusiasts. It's very light and smooth, but packs a fruity punch. I've also made this tea for a potluck event and iced it, then put in it a pitcher with cut up fruit and ice; not only did the adults love it, but children too.

This is a tea that is cost efficient, and worth every penny.

I tried this oolong tea for it's price and tasting teavana's other roobios/herbal blends. this is an ok tea, as it felt the aroma was artificial and the taste was mild and the ingredients for some reason did not go well together. i am not going to order this again as there are much better teas available in teavana's collection.

This tea is really good, but it doesn't have much PEAR flavor and it has a STRONG bananna flavor.....which I did not expect, based on the ingredients.

I really like this tea. It is one of my favorites I've had from Teavana. It has a light sweet taste of pear that blends well with the oolong. I enjoy this tea almost anytime of day. it is light and refreshing.
