I discovered Teavana one day when I was at the mall. I am so glad I did. I found this tea because I was looking for a tea that curved my appetite and helped with my metabolism and weight loss. This tea did all that! When I have a craving for something chocolaty or sweet I go for this. The flavor reminds me of a cinnamon chocolaty nutty desert. I can't get enough. I have already lost weight on this tea. If you like nutty sweet deserts then you would like this tea. This is by far, my favorite Teavana tea.

Let me start by asking Teavana to please bring back Formosa Nut Oolong. [...] This was recommended. It's not the same. It smells nutty and delicious in the bag. The first time I brewed it as per directions with my fancy devices and with 1 teaspoon sugar I had a hard time drinking it, it was medicine-ey. That's the only way I can say it. It was a nutty sweet flavor with a strong overtone of yukky medicine. The second time I brewed it I was sloppy about it since I gave up, instead of boiling the water in my stainless steel pot for just the right time...I popped it in the microwave for 2 minutes in a plastic cup. I then transferred it to my clear glass teapot with a filter for brewing, and added a sloppy overflowing teaspoon of tea and a couple sloppy overflowing teaspoons of organic sugar. This time it came out good. I think this is what it was meant to taste like so I will just overdo it on the tea and sugar in the future. That way I won't have to haul all the way back to the store and break my head trying to figure out which other oolong to get.I LOVE teavana and have been very very pleased with many of their teas. This was the first tea I would say was bad at first. I was prepared to choke it down the second time or buy something to blend it with or even return it, but I'm glad extra tea and sugar saved it. I might have even brewed it longer the second time since I didnt' care to rush over to it when the timer went off. Maybe this tea is better treated carelessly. Kind of like some people you date.

My friend tried this tea and didn't like it and gave it to me. I think he steeped it wrong because I tried it and LOVED it! I always add a lot of sugar to tea, but this tea didn't need as much because it was so delicious and not too bitter.

I'm still fairly new to loose leaf tea, though I have loved tea my whole life. Generally I lean toward black and herbals teas. Fruit flavors are my favorites - particularly peach. In fact, my top Teavana teas are Peach Tranquility, Peach Cran-Tango (sad that it's gone) and Opus Rouge. I prefer my tea sweet - admittedly at times, "make your cavities ache" sweet. But not always.
I was looking for a dessert tea when I decided to try Toasted Nut Brulee. I always want just a bite of something sweet after meals - but needed to start avoiding those chocolate mint or chocolate nut cluster calories. I thought I would really enjoy Toasted Nut Brulee based on it's description. It has a lot of the flavors that I look for in my candy.
However, the first few times I brewed Toasted Nut Brulee - I was disappointed. It smelled wonderful - just like some sort of nut confection baking. But I found the flavor lacking a lot. I didn't taste nuts and in general the tea was weak. It didn't have a bad flavor - but it wasn't fulfilling my after dinner sweet tooth at all. I had purchased 2 ounces - and I can't say I was dreading finishing off my purchase. So I have been experimenting with it.
For me, it was a matter of figuring out which sweetener brought out the flavors I did like in the tea. I prefer Stevia. I have become a bit of a tea snob since discovering Teavana and was sticking with straight Rock Sugar because it does such a wonderful job of enhancing the flavors. But the Rock Sugar just didn't bring out the right flavors for me in Toasted Nut Brulee. Stevia does. In fact, I'm quite fond of Toasted Nut Brulee with it and plan to purchase more.

I was really excited to try this tea, as I am a fan of nutty flavors. Unfortunately I was not a huge fan of this tea. As soon as I opened the bag I was taken aback by the strong smell. I mean STRONG. Very spicy smelling with a hint of nut. I thought, "Wow, I don't think I am gonna like this one," and sure enough I didn't. It's not undrinkable. It's just very strong, and I don't quite like the taste. The spices are overpowering. I think maybe it would taste better with less spice, more nuttyness. If you really like strong flavored coffee, this tea is for you. If you like TEA, I think this one may be a hit or miss. Some will love it, some will not be impressed.
My opinion:
I think I'll be finishing this bag and then never buying it again. Sorry, Teavana, not a fan of this one.

This tea is okay in my book, but it is not at all what the description states. I would rename this tea Pineapple Spice, as there is no nut flavor. It is a very fruity, and spice heavy tea. Not bad, but not what I wanted either.

This is one of my favorite Teavana teas and I buy it repeatedly. I love the different nuts and the cardamom and spices. The only downside is that it becomes bitter/sour if overbrewed. But it is a wonderful tea to drink in the mornings when it's cold outside! I like to open the cardamoms so the seeds are exposed before I brew the tea.

When I was first shown this tea, I thought that I had just discovered my new favorite tea. The aroma was intoxicating and I immediately wanted to bring this tea home and brew it. When I did I discovered that I was highly disappointed. The taste is only bearable, in my opinion, with added sugar and milk because without it this tea has a very weak taste.
I've brewed it a few times and this tea really is only good in the morning in my opinion. This tea really isn't one I would recommend to drink on it's own so I think it tastes great with some toast and oatmeal. Other than that, I won't be buying this tea again

This tea is a fantastic dessert tea! Depending on how long you brew it, the flavor can range from spicy carrot cake to cinnamon-sugar preztel. Either way, great for after a meal especially since it's oolong.

I don't like fruity or strong teas and was looking for a new flavor on the website when I saw this one. I drink tea in late afternoon at work or in the evening at home. Great way to relax with this tea. I just add some German Rock Sugar to it, nothing else. My 1st cup was too sweet, but only because I put too much rock sugar in it.

A store representative suggested that I blend this with Spice of Life, after I asked for teas that have skin healing properties. With some German Rock Sugar added and a teaspoon or two of regular sugar, this is like a "dessert in a cup". Wonderful!!
