I was so excited to see this tea at my local Teavana (an hour's ride away through the worst parts of CT >.< Please make one in Norwich. We have a HUGE market for one between the casinos and our local mall) [...]This tea was an amazing opportunity for me to really see what quality is.This tea lives up to its reputation. It is an amazingly well flavored white tea and it tastes like I can't find the words to describe. It tastes like nature, a nice warm mellow day in spring on a green hill with a warm breeze bringing to moisture from the nearby lake to fill your senses. It's an experience that I can't explain along your taste buds.It is however easy to mess up. The water could be too hot or steeped too long or even too little possibly. I know how to listen to my kettle for those little "gear shifts" in the water. I can hear the water when it gets just hot enough to use. That point right before whistling where it's quiet for about 5-8 seconds before the first whistle. That's the point I pull it off the heat and warm my pot. This tea is nice because I can use less pearls and get the same amount of flavor as a full teaspoon of the usual silver needle. It's economical to sya the least and when you're paying this much for tea it's nice to know that's a factor you can work with in your favor. I found this actually pairs really well with moroccan mint, but not together. I just happened to have about 1/4 of a pot of silver pearl and 1/4 a pot of moroccan mint and so I condensed them into one pot and tried it. The mix was brilliant. I never expected a tea for under 5 dollars for 2 oz's paired so well with a 22 dollar for 2 oz tea. It's got so much play in it to work with. I can't wait to keep experimenting.

This tea is good for relaxing in the evening...it is very light and subtle and I found that adding a bit of rock sugar really smooths out the flavor. So far, I dont think I am much of a white tea fan....I like a bolder flavor in most of my teas...but this one does work well when I am in the mood for something sweet and light. I didnt find it to be sweet alone as some other reviewers have stated...I found I had to add sweetness to it otherwise it just tasted vegetal to me. Since it is so pricey, I probably would not purchase this one again.

I really wanted to like this tea. I tried it several times, but it is so strongly "vegetal" in taste, that the only way I can drink it now is by mixing it with another tea. It isn't bad when mixed with Dragonwell, but I would certainly not purchase it again.

I prefer teas that are fruity, floral or herbal. This is the first 'straight' tea that I've truly enjoyed. It simply makes me feel good and refreshed. I do add rock sugar for sweetening. And honestly, I just put the pearls in the bottom of a glass mug, add the hot water and sweetener, watch it unfurl and enjoy. Really love this tea.

This is a smooth tasting white tea with a hint of honey that draws you in immediately for another sip. The aroma is wonderfully sweet, then the flavor has vegetal notes that are mellow and delicious. For a green tea choice, I love Jasmine Pearls as a great way to start the morning, so I am glad to now have a comparable morning white tea experience from Teavana. This one is definitely worth the price for me and I hope Teavana keeps producing it because I see this as becoming a regular among my daily choices.

This is the most delicious white tea I've ever had. It's smooth and soothing. It's expensive, but you can brew the same tea over and over again, so you get many more cups of tea out of this than many other teas.

Can't go wrong with this tea! It's benefits and how it goes well with every tea I have blended it with, not to mention the multiple steeps I get from it... Well worth the price!

I'm sipping on the tea right now, and reading the reviews. I find it to be very soothing. I find myself on somedays just opening the tin to smell the beautiful aroma.

I don't like a lot of caffeine so this tea is great for me. I can't quite describe how it tastes but I really really love it. I also know it's actually "good for you" which is a plus for me as well. I drink it without any flavoring or sweetener or milk. Also, it can be re-steeped 4-5 times so the price isn't so bad when you see how many cups you're going to get out of it.

Although this tea is on the high end, it is very tasty. I had to adjust the amount I use because there is a lot of needles in the "pearls." I would highly recommend this tea on its own or combined with a fruity tea.

I'm not one to buy the expensive teas. Heck, I go for the three dollar one's some of the times. I've had expensive one's before, and this tea is worth it. I took a chance buying this tea, and I'm telling you. It's unique in the fact that it's naturally sweet. Sweet like honey, not with a honey taste but in the same way honey is sweet. No where you go, "Oh this is sugary" but "Oh this is tasty sweet!" The smell of it, the color, the body, it tastes so good! If you were to spend money on an expensive tea, this is it. Do it, you will not regret it.
