Caribbean Calypso Mate Tea

Just tried this tea for the first time today! I will be ordering it again.

I love the aromatic, fruity or floral teas. They are fun as iced teas, although I enjoy them hot as a dessert or "treat" tea. I turned to tea because I have become more health conscious and have changed my eating habits. For this reason I was a little put off by the sheen of oil on the surface of this tea. I had become used to watching the sugar and caffeine content of teas, but I didnt expect the oil from the coconut.

I don't know a lot about mate, but I can say that it had no noticeable effect on me.

I like this tea for its, tropical aroma and flavor, and for its mild sweetness, but I can't say its a favorite.

I tried a few Teavana teas trying to find a favorite and this is definitely it! It is my perfect morning pick me up. The flavor is so good, it doesn't need anything else, not even honey.

I was a little reluctant to buy this tea because I have never tried it, however it was a pleasant surprise. This tea has a unique flavor profile in that it is fruity but also has a nutty cocoa flavor as well (think bananas without the overpowering banana flavor). It is a bit light for those who like stronger teas, but for myself it is perfect.

This tea is very nice iced or hot. It has a great tropical aroma that gives me a mini vacation every time I drink it. On it's own, it has full flavor and the lemongrass really comes through. I liked this mixed with the Copper Knot Hongcha Black tea, which gives it more of the traditional tea flavor. It is also surprisingly good with the Snow Geisha. Because of the flavor profile, I would recommend adding the rock sugar in small increments - I find it fairly sweet without any.

there's a "cons" missing. It's now 2 am, I got this tea 6 hours ago, can't stop drinking it. Can't sleep, so awesome. Please send help.

I was bummed out that Lemon Mate Blast was discontinued and tried My Morning Mate. It gave me the caffeine boost I needed but wasn't fond of the taste. But this is wonderful, delicious and a great replacement! If you like fruity, then this is for you!

tried this one yesterday in the store and immediately fell in love. I've never liked a tea so much. smooth, citrusy, no aftertaste. just a warm, cozy tea to have on a cold, windy day.

I got this tea last week and I'm really enjoying it. It is light and fresh and easy to brew because it is totally forgiving, no bitterness, completely fresh. I am enjoying it cool or chilled, at the gym or on the go. The Teavana salesperson recommended blending it with Citrus, Lavender Sage herbal tea which I also enjoy doing. No negative aspects about this tea!
