I like to brew this tea extra strong; instead of 1 tbsp I will often use 2. The flavor profile takes some getting used to but once you try it, you're hooked! I had it iced at first then tried it hot. The flavor is light, crisp and clean and very delicate to go down. It cleanses the palette well and is great for anytime of the day!

I like to drink green tea frequently throughout the day, both for the flavor and the health benefits. This tea is a great everyday green tea. The only downside is that this tea can become bitter very easily, especially in comparison with the more expensive varieties of green tea. But the price makes it very practical as an everyday tea -- especially if you want to drink more than a cup or two a day.

To give this green tea a lift I add Pineapple Kona Herbal. It's a great combination.

This is good Sencha they have to offer... it compares well with other kinds - in flavor and in aroma. The quality is definitely admirable, but I give it recognition for vitamin c. I used to drink this all the time and never got sick. Maybe it was just my faith! You'll like Sencha if you brew it right, enjoy.

This tea is fantastic I got it as a gift with the yixing tumbler as my first "real tea". not to say bagged teas arent ever as good but the sencha jade green tea tastes so good and gives me just enough boost expected with a green tea. It is earthy but the floral....and i think(vanilla) undertones help balance this tea out.
really balances my day anyday :)

Teavana has good sencha, I've had about four cups of it today. If you make it right then you will like it. I recommend starting off with water that won't burn you and is safe to the touch, then brew some sencha for a minute. Then brew another cup with the same leaves. Avoid letting it sitting so it doesn't over-brew.

My first purchase from Teavana. Far higher quality than all teas I've purchased in the past. I never knew green tea could have such an amazing vegetal flavor and aroma. A very good buy for the price. I just ordered more!
Small con:
The extra fine resulted in small bits of tea floating in the top of my cup. Unnoticeable unless you look carefully into the cup.

I use this tea every day. It's a great inexpensive green tea that wakes me up and has a quality taste. I love the imperials for special occasions, but for a quick energy boost in place of coffee this does the trick at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for morning energy:)
