Here's the truth: This tea is an under-appreciated gem.
Anyone who complains about it being bitter or not being able to get the flavor out of it must be doing it wrong. The right temperature and the right steep time (REALLY, just ONE minute) will get this tea to sing for you all year long.
It is possible to get a weak or bitter blend but that's not the fault of the tea, that is the tea preparer not working with it the way it needs to be. Teas are like people: You can't just force them to perform for you. You need to work with them the right way to get the most out of them.
This tea is amazing for the price but it is not one for beginners. It is not easy to get just right and it does no provide a second steep at all from what I've tried but that shouldn't be a problem for such an economical blend after all. it also mixes with other teas amazingly well. Ironically, silver needle and silver yin zhen pearls make a great combination if you don't mind steeping two different pots of teas separately and then mixing afterwords. Maybe I'm a little crazy for trying it but it was just magic when it happened. I had two emptying pots and a spirit for adventure. Mixed them both and found a gift from God. Amazing tea with amazing quality and potential if you are willing to work with it and discover how good it really is.

As peppermint has always been, and will always be, my favorite tea (no matter how well-developed I continue to grow in my knowledge/experience with tea), I tried this on a store associate's suggestion.
Oh, how I wish I had never listened.
The first cup I gagged down; it tasted like cigarette water. Like the disgusting aftertaste of a cheap menthol cigarette.
I again tried to blend it with peppermint, as the associate swore she loved because she "really loves mint."
Well, I really love mint, so maybe this would work.
NO.
It simply tainted the peppermint and left me again with that same weird, bitter aftertaste.
I warned a coworker, but she decided to try it for herself.
No surprise; she feels she wasted money on the 2 oz. she bought, because she immediately threw it out.
If you like mint, PLEASE GO FOR PEPPERMINT INSTEAD!!!
I love all mint, spearmint perhaps even more, but this was a total letdown and has so far been the only Teavana tea I've disliked this strongly!

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is a perfect introduction to mint tea. Although it is a very simple taste, I find that it makes it more accessible to everyone who would like to try tea. As some prefer a stronger mint flavor than available in this tea (though the mint is noticeable and delicious), I recommend trying it in-store if you can before purchasing, if you are picky with your mint teas. All in all, a very nice tea.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I love to brew this the Moroccan way, which is very different from the usual one-minute brew people give green tea:
• Brew from about 15 – 30 minutes. Yes, really. I usually do about 20.
• Pour the resulting brew into a pot; put this on the stove.
• When the tea boils, add from 1.5 – 2 teaspoons of sugar per cup of tea. Boil this for about 3 minutes.
That's it; if you want to serve it iced, put it in the fridge for a while, perhaps with an added sprig of mint on top. Delicious.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I know taste varies from person to person but this tea is my friend. He/she keeps me company while I study for big exams. This tea is on that is easy to drink because of it fresh nature.
I occasionally mix it with half a teaspoon of silver yin zhen pearls and it smooths it out. I know what some are saying, "he's a nut for mixing such an inexpensive tea with something as luxurious as the pearls..." Well it may sound weird but it's great together.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
This tea is the smoothest green tea I have EVER tasted and believe me I have tried many. The mint is the perfect add as it cuts the bitterness green tea can have. If you are new to green tea OR want less of a green tea taste, this is the tea for you. Don't get me wrong, I like green tea, but this is a tea I can sip while at work and enjoy all day. Also note it has a SUPER quick brew time (1 minute) which is extra convenient on the go in a tea tumbler or at work. Lovely.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
After a trip to Morocco, I was dying to find a source for Moroccan-style mint tea in the US. And lo and behold, Teavana! Traditionally it's heavily sugared, which is how I drink it, so anyone who finds it bitter shouldn't be afraid to be generous with sweetener. So glad to have found this!

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
See, I've read comments that people think this tea has no mint flavor, and is overly bitter. I beg to differ. It does have a bold, slightly bitter bite, but it's followed by a cooling mint taste. I've used this blend frequently by itself, and think it's wonderful. I can't wait to try it with others!

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I was not much of a green tea drinker, but mostly because I didn't brew it correctly. It is hard to brew green tea without speacial equipment. Well I purchased the Breville automatic tea maker and now every cup is perfect! Now I LOVE green tea - especially this one.

Comments about Teavana Moroccan Mint Flavored Green Tea:
I cold-brew this tea for 12 hours and then add agave syrup and shake with ice. It is the best iced tea. So refreshing and never bitter. As caffeine content is a concern for me, I have read that cold-brewing extracts less caffeine than hot. I wonder how much caffeine ends up in each glass?
