Very Good! Thumbs up!
I am very picky about Chai tea and like mine with a pepper kick to it. When I saw there wasn't even any pepper in this one, I was hestitant about ordering it.

Just made my first cup and have to say I am very happy with it. The ginger and cinnamon come through strong and give it a really nice flavor. Now if it just had some pepper in it I would give it a5 stars! Hey..maybe I will just throw in my own peppercorns!

I absolutely love Teavana so I hate having to rate one of their teas badly but this one just didn't sit well with me. I could barely finish the cup because I felt like I was drinking potpourri that had been steeped in water! I love Chai teas too, like the Samurai Chai Mate and White Ayurvedic Chai. So I am not sure what it was about this one that had the difference to taste so odd. Bummer!

The best tea to try if you love spicy. It's truly my fav! Taste is such a subjective thing I find it hard to find what I like based off reviews. I have purchased many many teas from teavana on a trial and error basis. This is my favorite. I love Roobios Chai mixed with Honeybush vanilla, French Spice Quartet and Earl Grey Creme

It's become common for masala chai to be made using darjeeling, green, and even white tea in place of using the traditional assam that is used in India. While, these other teas are great teas and are smoother and of higher quality than the humble assam, they are not bold enough to make the best masala chai. Taj Masala actually uses assam, and a very well rounded choice of spices making an energizing and very good tasting blend. Masala done right.

For the price and convenience, there is no better chai I've had. I fell in love with chai tea in India and almost nothing in the US really compares. Too often chai teas here taste like liquid Cinnamon Toast Crunch. This, however, tastes like chai should. I'd like a little more bite/spice (which I hear you get in the Maharaja Chai), but the price difference means I choose this one every time. I highly recommend it if you like chai tea!

I haven't had this chai straight--I always get it blended with the Rooibos Chai, so I'm writing this review based on that blend. The Masala Chai/Rooibos Chai is my favorite tea blend from Teavana. I love a rich, spicy tea and this is it. The Rooibos Chai adds a special depth to the flavor. If the aroma doesn't make you fall head over heels for this tea blend, the warm, spicy, complex flavor will.
Great for mornings (if you're awake enough to enjoy the complex flavor), an afternoon refresher, or an after-dinner treat (if you're not too affected by caffeine).

Great smell. Bought this off the positive reviews it had here; however, I didn't have quite the same experience. I find it a bit mild even though it was steeped as recommended.....it also had a lot of floaters that I didn't really care for....I use a Teavana pot so I didn't expect that.

Just went to the Teavana store in Mission Viejo this afternoon with a friend who is a tea enthusiast. I am a tea newbie - my tea experience is a Tazo Chai teabag in the micro on the beverage setting! I bought this tea, because it kind of reminded me of the Tazo chai - but when I brewed it, it was much better! Super easy to brew and the flavor was amazing! Added a packet of equal and some half and half and it was super yummy! Looking forward to me next cup soon!

I went to Teavana searching for a Chai tea that was full of flavor and didn't have that "big red" gum taste which many tend to have. After looking at a few which did not meet my requirements, I pointed to this Taj Masala tea and to my surprise it was PERFECT. Spicy flavorful tea that has the perfect combination of spices without that "big red" gum taste. I thoroughly enjoy this tea with 60/40 mixture of soymilk and water and with the Honey Bush Vanilla herbal tea which really accentuates the bold flavors in this tea into a soft harmonious blend.. mmmm. Top it off with a dash of whipped cream and you've got a cupful of heaven.
hint: if you do use soymilk to infuse, i would suggest to let it infuse for a bit longer because the soymilk doesn't grasp the full flavor in just those 2-3 minutes.
