This is an amazing tea... only if you follow the steeping guidelines. I made the mistake once of forgetting about my tea... It must have sat there for 5 minutes and the flavor was so intense and bitter, I had to waste a perfectly good cup of tea. If you follow the steeping guidelines, this is a delicious tea. Yes, it's earthy and a bit bitter, but I like it. And the aroma is a-mazing!

I received this tea as a gift and at first, I was pretty wary of it - it smells extremely sweet and strong of strawberry, so I imagined it would taste how it smelled. This didn't appeal to me, but I was so mistaken; the first sip blew me away. It is a full, smooth black tea with just the hit of strawberry in the aftertaste and in the steam that comes off the tea. Fantastic! I have to agree with some of the comments made, however; this tea can become very bitter and the last bit of the cup was hard for me to drink, and I am one of those tea drinkers who leaves the bag in the cup because the stronger, the better. I will have to prepare this a little differently next time.

This is the tea I always have on my shelf. I sure hope they never discontinue it. This is the kind of tea you can drink without any sweetners as it has such a pleasant taste on its own. I have never tried it with milk althoug I hear it is great. I enjoy it to much on its own :)

When I first smelled this tea, my first thought was of the Bubblicious strawberry gum I was so fond of as a kid. I wasn't how sure how this would work for the tea itself, but I wasn't disappointed. It has a lovely, but not overwhelming strawberry flavor, and adding a little milk kind of gives a "strawberries n' cream" taste to this tea.

One of the downsides, however, is, because this is a black tea, if you accidentally brew this tea too long it can become very strong and bitter. Keep an eye on the clock or set a timer for this one.

All in all, it's definitely a tea I would recommend to a strawberry fan.

I researched and purchased Pu-erh some years ago and was disappointed for the most part. I ended up using the tea in a blend of various other teas. Earthy = moldy to me. I was impressed with its smoothness, though; so wasn't entirely dissatisfied. I purchased the Laughing Buddha Yixing teapot this past December, and of course, had to try a tea to go with it. This was an excellent selection. One of the problems with many fruit blended teas is that the fruitiness is never quite strong enough and/or doesn't hold up in multiple infusions. I was impressed with this tea -- and definitely will be buying more and testing out some of the other blends. I usually end up adding a few drops of extract to boost the flavor; I didn't need to with this tea.

As for the teapot, it's delightfully whimsical, a good size (27 oz) but isn't really easy to work with for a daily brew. I consider it the first purchase of a collection.

One of the best things that I've liked about tea researching and then testing out different brands is that somewhere during the process I've gotten more into the ritual of tea-making. It's a pause, focus, and use all one's senses, rather than just drinking a beverage. It slows me down and removes the artificial rush that most of us are accustomed to.

Great tea.

As with any "black tea" you really need to pay attention to putting the correct amount and steeping it for the correct time. Not enough: the tea will taste weak and flat. Too much/Too long: the tea will be bitter.

I use a timer each time I brew my tea for a perfect steep. The flavor is nice and fruity with a bit of earthy-ness. It's a nice intro to Pu'Erh teas since it has that sweetness from the strawberries. Like most of Teavana's teas with fruits, I don't find the need to sweeten it.

This tea smells really wonderful and I was very much looking forward to making it in my perfect tea maker. I added the recommended amount of tea and brewed it with anticipation. I took a total of 3 sips out of the whole batch. It was biter and so over done (after the recommended time to seep) that is was not palatable. I came here to look at reviews and tried adding some cream as some had suggested, and then threw it all out. Giving it a second chance and following my instincts I used much less tea and steeped for less time and it is actually really good. If you are thinking about this tea or have tried it and not liked it give it a second or third or fourth chance. Try tinkering with it to maybe meet your tastes.

This can be a really interesting tea if you brew it right. It comes off with a nice fruity taste, but with a hint of black tea, but if brewed too strong, it is almost undrinkable because the bitterness gets extremely overpowering. Not my favorite, but interesting to try if you like black tea.

2nd steep was the charmm on this one! 1st steep it was bitter I can't lie but the 2nd and 3rd time it was perfect! Maybe on the 1st steep I shouldn't have let it steep so long? But at any rate I love this tea!
