Himalayan Majestic repackaged?
Hmmmm, looks and tastes suspiciously like the recently discontinued Himalayan Majestic. Just at twice the price. It is still delicious though.

I prefer a dark black tea so this was not going to be my favorite, but did enjoy the taste profile. It has a smooth floral taste that finishes well. This tea is stronger than most green teas and lacks the malty flavor of a typical black tea. This would be good for someone looking for a strong green tea that does not have a vegetal taste.

This has a strong fruity smell right out of the bag. Has a mild vegetal flavor that leaves you with a soft fruity finish. Smooth and relaxing but flavorful enough to drink anytime of the day. A very mild black tea with a light golden liquor. Best steeped at 4 minutes.

This tea is best on the second brew hot. It does do fairly well iced, especially the first brew. It has a slightly floral scent and taste for a black tea. Overall very balanced. Good all around, especially brewed decaf as a before-bed treat!

This is a good tea but I think there are better options for the price. I just think Golden Monkey or Black Dragon Pearls are better black tea choices. When I make it I use 1.5 tsp/8oz. of water and I think it taste much better. Based on the taste of this tea and nothing else this a good tea.

I think this is a good tea but the price is too high. You can get a much better black tea for a lower price or the same price (golden monkey or black dragon pearls.) The tea has a good taste to it (kind of like a Darjeeling.) I also think the multiple infusions work for this tea. 2 to 4 times. Good tea but to pricey.

I spent last summer in India and had the best tea I have ever had. I am no tea expert so I really knew nothing about it. They call it Chai, but it is not spiced (i.e., not Chai Masala). It was a sweet black tea with some floral undertones. For the past year, I've been searching for a tea that resembles what I drank in India. Himalayan Splendor is as close as I'll ever get. With some sugar and milk, I can barely tell the difference between this and what I drank in India. It is a GREAT tea.

The tagline that it is 'extraordinary iced' is what prompted me to try this tea as I drink a lot of iced tea. I'm not sure where this info is from, but I beg to differ. This one is in competition with the Nine Dragon for most disappointing flavor, but is worse because of the high price tag. I'll stick with the Black Dragon with the Copper Knot as backup.

I have been looking for a good Darjeeling tea from Teavana but didn't like the ones they had (and are now discontinued). I did try the Himalayan Majestic but it wasn't quite what I was looking for, and I do think the Himalayan Splendor resembles true Darjeeling like no other tea Teavana has sold since I first shopped there in 2007. For me, it is worth every penny. It makes for a great afternoon pick-me-up.

This tea has a mild and pleasant taste; perhaps, it is well-suited in as a blend to pacify a strong fruit or mint flavored leaf. To my chagrin, I was seeking a tea with a bit more oomph or energy when I selected this black tea.

HImalayan splendor is exceptionally smooth, and holds its "brew excellence" even after several cups. I am, for the most part, an Oolong drinker who likes to vary the additions to the blend, or combine green teas with a "sparking agent" (Jasmine Dragon and Rooibos Tropica, for example). However, winter calls for black teas in our house, and this is one I could drink for days on end without getting tired of it! Highly recommended.
