I've been an Earl Grey fan for well over a decade, and constantly on the search for the perfect blend. This one is up there with the best. I LOVE the strong bergamot flavor! Too many of the bagged varieties taste weak and watery. This one is medium to full-bodied, depending on how much you use per pot, and I appreciate having that flexibility with loose teas.

I purchased this tea a few years ago from Teavana and was very satisfied. But recently I purchased it again and I was very disappointed on the quality of the tea. My main concern is the amount of very small tea leaves. Much of the weight of the tea is the debris (very small fragments) that sift through the tea filters. I don't believe the tea should have such a high percentage of unfilterable tea.

Finally! A tea from Teavana I actually really enjoy! This was everything you would expect from an earl grey but was a little weak with the recommended brewing time. I kicked it up a notch by brewing at 212 degrees for 4 minutes. Then added cream and a little sugar for a really enjoyable experience.

I've always enjoyed Earl Grey but, I've never tasted anything like this before. I'm used to a "monolithic" flavor, delicious but, singular. With this Earl Grey I can taste the individual flavors as well as appreciate the overall flavor profile.
I've always believed that one can't really understand food/drink until one has tried "the good stuff" (Dom Perignon vs. Cold Duck). This tea validates that belief. Just spectacular.

Hands down Mrs Earl Grey was the BEST tea ever, but this is pretty amazing too! I drink this all day everyday. I have tried Earl Grey from other stores (silly me) and nothing compares to Teavana. Love this tea!!
