This tea has a honey-like flavor to it. I tried it in-store alone, and i absolutely hated it! I was definelty missing something...So, the clerk said that it would taste delicious with the lemon youkou herbal tea. It was delicious! It is one of my favorite teas that i have tried from Teavana, and I have tried a lot of teas... Trust me! I bought 2 oz. of the Capital of Heaven Keenum, and 2 oz. of Lemon Youkou right then. It has become my early morning tea. So if it were me I would DEFINETLY not get the Capital of Heaven Keenum alone... It is definetly a tea that needs something to blend with it... I personally think that the Lemon Youkou would taste the best with it, but experiment with it... Who knows? Maybe there might be a tea out there that tastes better with it other than the Lemon Youkou tea...

Whilst a very well balanced tea it leaves more to be desired in terms of overall underlying flavors.

This is the most full-bodied of the teas I drink. It is great hot in the morning. It does ice well, but not as good as Golden Monkey. It is nice and strong and doesn't require extra tea for a cool brewing (1 tsp/8 oz). Love the finish.

This is my favorite black tea from Teavana. The clear golden-red color is a delight to the eye. The tea is smooth, smooth, smooth - no hint of bitterness at all. With its warm, toasty aroma and hint of honey, it calls to me at bedtime. I tried convincing myself that was a bad idea because of the caffeine, but I didn't win - the tea did! I just steep it a minute first, pour that off, and do a second, full steep - then sleep peacefully. Wonderful tea!!

Love this black tea blend, goes very well with all flavored black teas, as well as the herbals. As for the whites, it can overpower them and cause a bitter flavor when mixed with floral teas.

This is without a doubt my favorite black tea. Its rich, earthy flavor is strong, yet soothing. I love the undertones of honey. I cannot say enough good things about this tea. I drink it every day. I absolutely love it.

A very fine tea, I drink it straight. I do not prefer it to Copper Knot Hongcha or Golden Monkey, but the slightly smoky and smooth body warms my heart. I steep it for 4 minutes at 208 (1st), and 190-208 for 9-10 minutes (2nd). I do not steep more than twice. A very calming black tea - no expectation is the best attitude to take with this tea and you will not be disappointed.

I like a cup of tea with breakfast. This tea is definitely soothing to boot, but there's no ecitement to it.Therefore I would not recomment it to a friend.
