I read the reviews about this tea and purchased it yesterday because I really wanted to try something totally different. I usually buy teas with a nutty/spicy flavor, but I really liked the idea that this had not only the mint and chocolate, but also hazelnut undertones. The tea is exquisite!!!!!!! I think it would be the perfect after dinner drink, but I'm so in love with it that I can completely see myself drinking it anytime. It is so aromatic, and the smell very closely matches the flavor. Upon first sip I taste the chocolate and the hazelnut, and the mint is a burst right at the end which is refreshing and fabulous!! I will certainly re-purchase!!!!

I was very excited to try this blend, and was not disappointed by the flavor of the tea. However, the smell was something I had to work very hard to get past. When I first opened the package, my first thought was of mint Bailey's. Then when I went to brew it, I was hit over the head by the smell of Hazelnuts. I'm not sure if I'm just sensitive to the smell or not, as I seem to be the only one commenting on it, but it was there. When I brewed it, it became more tolerable, and the flavor is very mellow and the mint leaves a nice after taste. I really enjoyed the flavor, but am not sure I can get past the smell long enough to brew another cup.

Comments about Teavana Cacao Mint Black Tea
:
This is a go to tea for me. the flavors are subtle, and don't overwhelm the flavor of the black tea. It has a nice chocolatey overtone and then finishes with a refreshing mint after taste. I use two heaping tea spoons for a regular 12 ounce mug, and I find that it gives me just the right strength ( I think that a lot of people who complain of tea being weak forget that the Teavana recommendations are for 8 oz, and the average coffee/tea mug is 12). A little sugar really brings out the flavors. I've found that re-steeping, I get at least two good mugs, sometimes three depending on initial steep time. Over all, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a flavored black tea that doesn't totally mask the tea its self. Five stars!

Comments about Teavana Cacao Mint Black Tea
:
I decided to try this tea because of the hazelnut and cocoa pieces. I was really disappointed when I tried it. The smell is amazing, but all I could tatse was peppermint. It had no hint of hazelnut or cocoa. I would rather buy a minty tea than one with added ingredients that you can't taste. The pepermint is a little too strong too.

This tea smells nice and refreshing and it tastes even better. It resembles the taste of a York peppermint patty. I love the taste and I drink it in the morning and after meals.

Comments about Teavana Cacao Mint Black Tea
:
This tea has a really great taste and smell. Lovers of chocolate will definitely love this. Also, if you are the sort that takes your tea with sweeteners, pure cane sugar goes really well with this. The flavors in this tea don't quite pop with the german rock sugar.

Comments about Teavana Cacao Mint Black Tea
:
I wasn't sure how this tea would turn out, but figured I'd at least give it a try. I was worried that it would have too much of a heavy cacao/cocoa taste that would over ride all the other flavors.
The first thing I did when opening the bag was take a whiff. I wasn't thrown off by the smell, per se. It intrigued me. It also took me by surprise a bit because it wasn't what I was expecting, however I decided to keep myself open to the taste.
Once brewed/steeped, I was pleaantly surprised that the cocoa flavors did not overtake the other flavors as I had first thought. The flavors blend together nicely, yet one can also take note of each individual flavor. One flavor doesn't overpower over any of the others, nor is any one flavor stand out over the others. I was very pleased with the turn out of this tea from what I had originally imagined it to be.

I liked most of the ingredients minus the Spearmint I thought it was a bit much. If it had just been pepermint leaves I'd be fine. It held to much of a coffee flavor to me.

This tea, I tried last night. So delicious.. at first sip, I was dissapointed there was no mint! and then it almost slapped me, the mint is actually the aftertaste. Very refreshing and very chocolate-y...with a bit of milk and rock sugar it is perfection.
