First of all, I do not consider myself a tea drinker, at least not of hot tea. I am from the south and drink iced black tea (sweetened) on occasion, but have never found a hot tea that interested me. I went to Teavana with a friend a few weeks ago and didn't bother to try any of the teas since I hadn't had any luck with tea in the past. I ended up trying this blend on our way out on a whim. I was immediately hooked! It's spicy and warm, just perfect for fall (though I plan to drink it all year round). I would definitely recommend this for someone who is hesitant to try hot tea/ healthy tea. I did not purchase the tea that day (I am the opposite of an impulsive shopper), and completely regretted it. When I was back in town a few weeks later (my town does not have a store) I headed straight to Teavana to pick up this blend! Unfortunately, I was not informed that the in store sample included the German Rock Sugar, so I had to make another trip when I discovered that the taste at home didn't match the in store sample. After grabbing THREE pounds of the sugar I experimented, failed miserably a few times, then found the right prep/ proportions to make the tea taste the same as it does in the store. I am posting it below as I couldn't find anyone who had done so before.
Tea amount: 3 teaspoons
Tea temp: 200 degrees Fahrenheit
Steep time: 8 minutes
Sugar: 2 tablespoons of Teavana's German Rock Sugar (table sugar/ honey won't taste right, trust me)
This will make a great, sweet cup of tea! I realize the steep time is far longer than is recommended, but it will be VERY weak if you steep for only two minutes. Same issue with the temp, you'll get a fuller taste at 200 degrees. I realize the sugar content is high, but it's definitely worth it to add lots of rock sugar to get the right taste. I drink this in lieu of eating dessert. I have been loving this tea in the morning, evening, and as an afternoon pick-me-up at work.
Hope this helps anyone interested in this blend!

An absolute must have. This is the perfect blend of spice, fruitiness, and sweetness. If you're looking for a pick me up in the morning, this is it.

It's a very good tea (at least I think so). I usually drink this in the morning at work. A few tables spoons with some of the german rock sugar with a coffee maker/tea pot process for steeping. Makes about 17 ounces (three small cups).

This is the best tea I have ever tated. I have tasted several of the other teas at Teavan but I keep returning to this flavor. I have been drinking a cup every single day for the last few weeks. Before it was just every once in a while.
Suggestion...after steeping your tea put the tea in a small saucepan covered in water, put on low heat...It will smell your house like nothing else. LOVE IT!!!

I've never tasted anything quite like this. With a background of cinnamon, the other spices combine to become something unique that is hard to describe.
Take a sip, run the tea over your tongue so that the unique flavor reaches as many taste buds as possible. An instant favorite for my wife & I.

A couple months ago my sister introduced me to Teavana. The first time I went into a store I tried a sample of the Chai-Chai blend and now I am hooked! Today was the first time trying it iced with milk and I feel hooked all over again!Love it for any time, this does not compare to the Chai tea I am always ordering in Thai restaraunts!

My dad got me this tea for my birthday after I tried the free sample when this was the sample. I fell in love. I mix it with coffee in my coffee maker (I know sacrilege, right? Just try it some time.) With some chai flavored creamer, (you can make your own, by steeping the tea in half and half.)No sugar, it doesn't need it with what appear to be candied pineapple pieces. I LOVE this tea.
