    Poor Quality, Very Fragile

Over the past year, I've really gotten into drinking loose leaf tea. I received this tea pot as a gift for Christmas from my sister. She sited it as being Teavana's best seller and classic tea pot for loose leaf tea.

At first I loved it and it was very convenient to be dishwasher safe. However, the spout quickly became discolored and was very difficult to clean. Then the glass easily cracked in the spout.

It's lasted about three months and already broke because it's too fragile. Stay away unless Teavana is willing to reimburse or let you try a better/stronger tea pot.

          Too fragile

          By Daily Tea

          from Fort Worth, TX

Loved the large infuser. I am a daily tea drinker and thought I had found a better teapot than at Adagio since I have gone through two tops, but it took me three years for the teapot to actually break. This one broke within a month. The handle broke away from the main body.
I got past the top not fitting without the infuser, which I think is a poor design, but the quality is horrible.

Bought this review unseen and was pleasantly suprised! Very durable in spite of bad reviews and everything fit as it should. Very nice look to the glass pot and is a visual treat to see the true tea color.

I think the glass design makes this teapot beautiful. I love to see the color of the tea. It is very easy to clean and has lasted me over 6 months so far. I bought one for my step-mom and she loves it too. We both use this teapot quite often as we both love to drink tea instead of coffee. The glass doesn't stain and the metal strainer has not even begun to tarnish. The fine strainer is perfect for any size of tea leaf, whether whole or fine ground. It has a great spout that doesn't leave a drop running down the teapot. That is important to me as that seems to be a problem in most teapots I have tried.
The only problem I have noticed is you have to leave the strainer in to put the lid back on. But to me that really isn't a problem. I just dump the tea leaves out into a dish to reuse in the next pot, rinse it, and drop it back in.

I bought this for my wife, who is a tea lover. She used it one time. After checking it over to make certain it was dishwasher safe she put it in to wash only to find that it was cracked when it was time to unload the dishwasher.

I bought this teapot for some friends. As I went to use it with them, we brewed our tea with the infuser. I removed the infuser, went to put the lid back on the pot, and watched the lid sink to the bottom of the pot. I was seriously disgusted. Obviously whoever designed this pot knows nothing about tea.

The second time I used the pot, I demonstrated to friends why I was so disgusted by it. This time, not only did the lid sink to the bottom, but it actually broke the bottom of the pot, dumping tea and glass on the floor.

This product is terrible. Period. Generally speaking, I am satisfied with Teavana's pots. However, I will be sure to check each product before I buy it. It seems that they do not put the time into making sure that their products are free of crucial design flaws. Honestly, Teavana, this product does not belong on any shelves. From one tea entrepreneur to another, save some face and remove this product from your shevles as soon as possible.

I was in love with this teapot, I was looking for one without plastic top, because when plastic gets hot its toxic, I used it every day, but one day I hit it with a small tea cup accidently and it broke into small pieces! The glass is very fragile and not strong enough!

I suffer from PCOS and it's recommended that I drink a tea with spearmint multiple times per day. This is fine, and I do it ... but before this tea pot, I was constantly left making tea one cup at a time. With the Claire pot, I'm able to make my daily allotment and simply pour and enjoy as needed. It has really simplified the process and made drinking more much easier.

I let my tea seep all day ... some will disagree about my method, and that's fine ... but I like a strong flavor ... so a could teaspoons of tea and a rock sugar and I'm all set.

If you're looking for a good "all the time brewer" this one is for you.

This teapot is absolutely horrendous. The lid cannot stay on the pot without the steeper in. And even with the steeper in, the lid falls off.

Not sure what product designer came up with this mess but it should be taken off the site and shelves immediately.

I use this teapot and warmer almost everyday.

The spout is amazing, I have never had drips and sometimes I just stare at it wondering how this even possible. Good stuff!

If you would like to brew one or two cups of tea at a time I would suggest purchasing their smaller tea pots. I usually have to put in at least three cups of water for the liquid to even touch the tea leaves in the diffuser. Sometimes it's just a bit too much tea for me!

                                        Great tea pot, would recommend.
