- Very pretty
- Strainer Not Fine Enough
I just got this set as a gift from my boyfriend on Christmas, and it's amazing! I'm really happy with the size it holds (it's bigger than my yixing teapots), since there are other family members that drink tea. My guests were also impressed with this set.
In addition, it was much easier to clean than my previous tea set since it is dishwasher-safe. I've been using this set many times throughout the day, and it hasn't broken or cracked, so I'm happy about that.
However, I do find that the pot does drip. I'm guessing it's because I filled up the pot over half-way, but that would be a huge disappointment, or perhaps the design of the spout or the way I pour.
Also I find that the strainer isn't very efficient for my finer teas, but it isn't a big problem.
I wouldn't call this a complaint, but the tea cups were much lighter than I expected. I had hoped for them to be a bit thicker and heavier. I do prefer my tea sets heavy and smooth, so this may be a biased opinion.
I just bought this teapot for myself, and it's very pretty! It does drip more than I'd like when I pour it, but maybe I'm just a little clumsy. Previously I had only a 16 ounce teapot with one cup for myself, but I like that it holds enough to share. I did buy it along with a warmer so if it's just for me I don't have to keep brewing little pots over and over and it just stays warm.
