The description of this product is incorrect for the number of cups. This pot makes about 10oz. and will make 3 small Japanese style cups of tea or a single mug of tea.
That aside, this is a magnificent little pot. It is easy to clean/maintain and is quite aesthetically pleasing to use. It fits on a round burner to keep hot if you're using small cups and refilling. I love seeing this on my counter and I love using it. I actually love washing it, too. I feel connected to tea drinking history using this pot in a weird way that sounds so bizarre and affected writing it here.
Pros
- Aesthetically pleasing
- Cleans easily
- Perfect for a single cup

This pot is perfect for a single (regular size) cup or for 2-3 small cups of tea. It is easy to clean and a lot of fun to use. The wide opening makes inserting and removing the stainless basket easy. You feel confident that you're drying each part, too, when you rinse this after using. It's also small enough to take when you travel if you don't mind the weight.
I look forward to brewing tea using this pot. I love the look of it, too. Something about it is soothing just in the brewing process.
No matter what size you choose, a cast iron pot is the perfect way to brew!
