Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
I love this. I've been wanting a cast iron teapot for a long time now, and I'm glad I went with this one. There is a slight problem of flaking enamel, but I only saw a bit of it once so I'm hoping it was nothing. It's beautiful and keeps the tea warm. The matching cups don't keep the tea warm, sadly, despite being hot to touch. However, the cups are small, so it doesn't need to stay warm for long--you'll finish drinking it! I love this teapot. The price tag was worth it.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
I simply looooooove this teapot! It makes great tea and proves as an exquisite centerpiece to any gathering space. The only thing I noticed that can be a bother is the enamel tends to start flaking after a few uses. As long as you make sure you keep the pot dry when its not in use and continue to use bamboo tools when needed this teapot is sure to please!

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
As so many others have written, this is a beautiful teapot, convenient, and works great. I have never made tea that tasted so good until I got my cast iron teapot. Even my husband, who normally won't drink tea, loves all the various teas I have made in it. I have the trivet, the warmer and the bamboo set, and use the teapot every day, as well as all day on the weekends when I am home. The quality is outstanding and worth every dime we paid for it. Easy to use and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
I stumbled upon Teavana on a trip to Vegas 3 months ago. To be honest, I had never even heard of the company before. (Probably because I don't think they have any stores in Canada yet)?
Anyway, the store employees were great. They offered me some tea to try. Showed me all the wares. I absolutely fell in love with the cast iron tea pots. I have wanted a Japanese tea set for a very long time but never found one that "spoke" to me enough to warrant buying it. Until this fateful day. And to find one with a dragon on it (I was born in a year of the dragon) was like living a dream.
I ended up buying not only the tea pot but 2 sets of cups with saucers, the trivet, the warmer, and about 4 lbs of tea. Let's just say I had to buy a new suitcase to get this wonderful purchase home safely.
I love my tea pot. I use it a lot. It is such a wonderfully functional piece of artwork. And there is nothing I love more than coming home from a stressful day at work and making a soothing pot of tea in it.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
I just treated myself to the large Imperial Dragon cast iron teapot in red. It's so beautiful and has such presence as it sits on the counter.
I was looking at several, and the sales associate (Samantha at the South Hills Village store in Pa.) was so knowledgeable and helpful...and patient! I took a while to decide exactly what I wanted, while she showed me different items and explained all the uses and symbolism to me and explained how to use and care for cast iron.
We purchased the warmer and the trivet, as well, along with a couple of the hobnail cups. When we left the store, everything was well-wrapped in nice packaging with plenty of tissue padding.
We have been having the Tranquil Dreams herbal tea, and I made a pot immediately. I think it tastes better made in an iron teapot.
This is a purchase I had been thinking about for some time, as the iron pots are high-end and not inexpensive. I'm so glad I went ahead and got my red Imperial Dragon pot. My husband and I just love it.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
This is a great teapot and it looks beautiful (I got black w. gold). I can't add much new: works great and is absolutely beautiful. I got the warmer (first time I've used such and it's great). I also got the trivet -- also beautiful. The only negative is that I bought the cups to go with it, but I don't like the little cast iron cups -- they get very very hot and they dissipate the heat of the tea very rapidly (that's true of the all the cast iron tea cups that go with the Teavana Cast Iron Pots). I went to glass double wall teacups, but your tastes may vary. At least one matching cup is ideal for holding the infuser w. tea when you remove it, so I'd strongly suggest buying at least one of them. I use the others for rock sugar, sugar cubes, lemon slices, small teaspoons... whatever else you are offering with tea. Small suggestion: when you remove infuser with tea, its all very hot on fingers -- i've found that any table knife handy will flip the infuser up an inch to where you can grab edges with fingers.

Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
This teapot is beautiful and using it makes me enjoy my tea even more. Prior to buying this, my favorite teapot was a Brown Betty that I purchased in England (also makes a great pot of tea), but the cast iron Imperial Dragon teapot is now at the top of my list! I'm online this evening to order the matching cups. While it is expensive, you get what you pay for. I definitely recommend it to all tea lovers!
Comments about Teavana Imperial Dragon Cast Iron Teapot:
I bought the Cranberry/Gold tea pot for my boyfriend for Christmas. He is a collector of Chinese Dragons and tea. When the box arrived, I was estatic as the tea pot was even more beautiful than I expected. He was absolutely thrilled! Now they offer the matching tea cups, which I'm going to order. My only negative comment: for the price, they should offer a nice keep-sake box to store it in. : )

My Father bought me this teapot along with the Emperor's Collection of Chinese Teas. This pot is of very high quality, aesthetically pleasing, and makes excellent tea. Nothing bad to say.
