I purchased this teapot, trivet, two cups and saucers, and a few teas in order to incorporate more tea and less coffee into my life. I conducted quite a bit of research and studied many tea sets before deciding on this one. I really love it. It is aesthetically pleasing and the cast iron has a nice heavy feel. It is important to warm the teapot with hot water before steeping or the tea will not stay warm as long as it would otherwise. I typically put hot tap water in the teapot while waiting for my tea kettle to boil. Then, I pour it out and steep my tea. Overall, I love this set and look forward to preparing and enjoying my tea each day.

I was excited to buy this teapot while it was on sale. It is very pretty and heavy/ sturdy. And brewed a nice pot of tea. However, after about 1-2 weeks, I noticed peeling around the inside of the spout and the inside the top opening. I imagine rust will quickly form at these areas. I only used the teapot less than 5 times and hand washed it very carefully. Very dissappointed that I will not be able to use this as my everyday teapot. It will now be decoration on a shelf...

Comments about Teavana Dragonfly Cast Iron Teapot:
I'm an avid tea drinker, increasingly so as the years go by. I get a little bit disregulated if I don't have at least a few cups of tea every day. Knowing this, my amazing boyfriend bought me this beautiful teapot for Christmas (in green, because it's one of my favorite colors). It's absolutely beautiful; it's a lovely, natural, relaxing shade of green, which I love, and the dragonflies are lovely. It's a pleasure just to look at, and also fabulous to use. It's heavy and sturdy enough that I'm not worried about accidentally breaking it, but small and light enough to lift and pour easily. The little mesh infuser fits perfectly, and gives my loose tea enough space to brew properly while still keeping it in the pot when I pour the tea (I don't mind having leaves floating about in my cup, but my family and friends aren't terribly fond of it). It also keeps my tea the perfect temperature until I'm finished (I have small glass teacups, and this pot holds exactly enough for five cups).
I could not be happier with this teapot. It's very rare that a day goes by without me using it.

I wish I had bought this kind of pot more than two years ago. I was being cheap. With all the other pots together I could have bought two cast irons. I will be buying a bigger one very soon, and I am telling everyone about these pots. Teavana you should pay me for advertising and promoting your tea. (smile) I love your teas, please don't change and bring back the Blooming Teas.

Comments about Teavana Dragonfly Cast Iron Teapot:
I was so excited to get our first tea set and begin drinking "real" tea instead of just the tea from the bags. I love our dragonfly set but the only problem that I have with it is that it's difficult to clean since you aren't supposed to use soap on it because of the cast iron. If tea spills on the saucer, which it typically does in my house, then when it is wiped away the paint is wiped away, too. So it becomes a matter of whether the tea stain is more important than the paint stain. Otherwise, I think that this is great product, expect to use it for many years to come, and have gone back to buy many other products from our local Teavana.

I saw this teapot at my local store and fell in love with it. I gushed over it so much that I received it from my fella for our anniversary. I have used it multiple times to make tea and have not any difficulties. I would recommend this to anyone who is a tea enthusiast or is searching for a gift to give a tea enthusiast.

My husband wanted to get this for me last year for Christmas, but we couldn't afford it. So this year he was able to purchase it along with two teas, two cups, and two coasters. I've used it every day since Christmas! I love it. I love that every thing he got to go with it has a meaning. It is a wonderful starter tea pot and I'm sure I will use it for years to come!

I love, love, love this teapot. My husband bought this and the matching cups for my birthday. We have used it now 3 times in two days. I love the look and design. The pot is heavy weight and I love how easy it is to clean. This is a perfect addition to our kitchen/dining experience at home.

I use this pot to make tea just about every day after work. I love the little mesh infuser that was included. It keeps tea hot for about an hour on its own, but with a teapot warmer, it stays warm all evening.

Comments about Teavana Dragonfly Cast Iron Teapot:
I bought the black and gold dragonfly teapot with 2 cups to start and the cast iron warmer. I love it! The quality is great, and the cups have a nice heavy feel in your hands. The cups are on the small to med size which I love so your tea does not cool down too fast. One teapot fills about five of the dragonfly cups. Buying this has definitely made me sip more loose tea in a relaxing way. I got my husband into tea now too and it's a great way to unwind and chat at the end of a long day.
