A perfect little cute mouse pot for one. I received this as a gift and was delighted with it. It is lovely as a teapot or simply for display. The reviewer on here that says it does not have the built in strainer is correct...It doesn't. No matter as the leaves are mostly bigger than the spout and act as their own strainer. Only thing is, that it tends to dribble and not pour cleanly. I would buy it if I didn't receive it and hope to buy other products to compliment it.

Got this as a gift, it doesnt have a strainer in it but I use larger tea leaves so its not a big deal. Only four stars b/c it drips when serving,
no big deal though. Its really cute. It really only makes one cup of tea but very quick and easy to brew a 2nd if you want to share. Just remember to only use one kind of tea in these kind of teapots. It does take time for them to take in the flavor. Great little teapot

It does not have the spout strainer that the website says. Luckily I was in a store when I got it. Oolong leaves swell up so it doesn't matter that there's no strainer.
This is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people (or more under certain circumstances). The size means you can do short and flavorful steepings without leaving the water in the pot too long.

I absolutely love this little mouse. The yixing really takes the aroma into the clay. It does take time to absorb the flavor but with patience I have something have no regrets about. I also have three pet rats which made it even better for me! Perfect for any rat/tea lover.

I received this little mouse as a gift, and it is absolutely adorable! It was a bit smaller than I expected, and holds only one small cup of tea at a time, but with a strainer built right in to the spout, it is easy to simply add more water when you are ready for that second cup. The Yixing teapots do take a bit of time to "season" before use, but it was not difficult. I would definitely recommend this little guy as a gift or as a wonderful addition to your own collection.
