Description

The tin and purple sand clay Yixing is a dynamic usage of materials with the dragon depicted in tin relief. The spout is comprised of solid tin and the handle is natural bamboo fastened by copper. Symbolic of good fortune, power and strength, this teapot is presented inside a gorgeous wooden chest lined with cloth. Holds 20oz (590mL) of tea. Includes a removable stainless steel tea strainer.

My Favorite Tea Pot!

    This is a great pot if you like people commenting on the uniqueness of your collection! Not to mention the pot itself is wonderful at pouring tea. It is absolutely one of a kind in its design, the size and quality being up to par. The spout is my favorite part strangely enough, because the tea runs over a kind of "platform" I would say that guides it into the cup; the ridge between the opening of the spout and the point is thick and yet no tea EVER gets spilt, it's fantastic! Also, the pot never gets too hot to hold, despite the metal exterior design.

    I would recommend this to anyone looking to add variety and a traditional look to their collection with this high quality piece.
