I received this item as a gift from my boyfriend. As my tea collection expands exponentially, it offers a nice way to store some of what I have.

The pros: It's attractive and it works to hold my tea.

The cons: Construction is not of the quality I'd expect. The interior dividers between tins are cardboard, not wood, and rather than being securely attached they are held in place with double-sided tape which almost immediately came unstuck. The tins themselves are made of thin metal that doesn't have that "good quality" feel to it. And the Teavana logo is plastered all over - on the tins and inside the box lid. I don't want to be advertised to on a gift!

Overall, I am generally pleased and certainly make use of the chest all the time. I've gotten many compliments from friends and I like to show it off. But in the end I would probably not have chosen to get this particular product if it had been up to me.

This tea chest is simply a work of art, plain and simply. I am a serious tea drinker, I drink tea for my health. And this chest is the perfect for containing most of tea collection.
I shall cherish it forever and it will be pasted down for many generations to come!

The tins themselves are made of thin, cheap-feeling metal. And the Teavana logo is plastered all over - on the tins and inside the box lid. I don't want to be advertised to on something I've purchased from a company.

Overall, I am generally pleased and certainly make use of the chest all the time. I've gotten many compliments from friends and I like to show it off. But in the end I don't think it provides good value and would probably have gone with another option if it were up to me.

I loved the gorgeous red and black lacquered box when I first saw it, but was not crazy about the Teavana-logo gray/purple storage canisters inside. So was I ever thrilled when I opened the box to find that Teavana had included fabulous maroon/gold decorative canisters instead. I'd never seen this design before, and they are just beautiful! However, I had to contemplate how to mark the canisters as to what tea I'd placed inside each one. So I write or type the name of the tea on a small piece of paper and place it under the canister. Voila! I've identified my tea without compromising the canisters. This is a lovely set, and I'm so happy to have it.

Being new to tea, I bought this tea chest for my husband and I for Christmas, so that we could sample several teas. We are so happy with our purchase (and have become tea nuts!). The chest is beautiful, and is wonderful to display on our kitchen counter. If you have a tea lover in your life and are looking for a great gift, this won't disappoint! Thank you Teavana!

I like that I can choose my own teas and refill them as needed. The box itself is beautiful and was the first selling point, with the tins of chosen teas being the second. This is something that will be passed down to my children.
