This tea chest is beautiful. It's high quality and the tins inside are great. The only con, and it's not a huge deal is that I drink a lot of tea, and the 2 ounce tins are small and have to be refilled often. Still worth it though! Perfect solution for a beautiful way to store tea!

I just received this as a gift for Valentine's Day. It's a beautiful chest, and I really liked the velvet lined box. My box came with the red tea canisters which I think adds a lot of depth to the box. I have been using the tea chest every day since I got it.

My only issue with this box is that mine had some dividers that were loose or torn. I thought that if I wanted to make sure this tea chest lasts a lifetime, I should get the dividers replaced, or exchange the chest for one with more stable dividers. I called my local store, explained the situation that since it was a gift, I did not have a receipt, but I just wanted to see what could be done. They told me to come into the store so they could take a look at it to see if it needed to be replaced. They switched out my chest for one in their store that the dividers were stable.

I would recommend this tea chest to friends, but encourage them to really look at the product before they walk out of the store, though Teavana employees are rather helpful. I have my chest displayed proudly, and have been enjoying a few more cups of tea per day than I used to.

Overall, a terrific gift. My wife got it for me for Christmas. Should include small tea samples for the price.

This is a beautiful tea chest that was a gift from my Boyfriend for Valentine's Day. It is simply stunning and classy! He knew/was told it does not come with tea so he purchased a few to put in the containers it comes with. I also like that it did not come pre-filled with Tea because I get to pick what tea I WANT! This is great for special occasions and beautiful for display purposes. I wish the perfect tea tins that came with it were different because when I went to open the two that my boyfriend had filled with tea...tea flew out of it and made a mess on the floor. My boyfriend thought it was just me so he tried it and the same thing happened to him. I like the containers that have the clear plastic lid that are easy to remove much better (sold on the site as well). Overall very happy with this beautiful gift!

It is an expensive box. Be sure to read the last three words, "tea not included". It is embarrasing to give a fancy tea chest as a gift, only to find that all that's inside is a bunch of empty cans!!!!
