Birch trees are symbolic of new beginnings and cleansing of the past. This beautiful tea tin is wrapped in a printed Japanese paper called 'Momi-gami' which roughly translates to 'crumpled paper.' It gives a beautiful birch look to the air-tight tin that will keep teas fresh for up to a year. Made in Japan, this tin holds approximately 7oz (200g) of tea depending on the tea type.

Absolutly beautiful. Got it for my father who loves tea but does not like all the crazy colors of the washi tins. Very outdoorsy, fits the theme of the kitchen and his personality.Would suggest it for any man who wants tea, but not the flamboyant colors.
