I love this thing. I choose my tea for the day, get the first caffeinated brew in the morning, and used the same leaves the rest of the day, and this pot makes it so incredibly easy. I grain the tea out of it and then set it on top of a different cup designated for this purpose to collect any further drippings, I find if I don't do this then subsequent cups can be bitter from extreme over-steepage, but this is worth every penny as far as having quick and easy access to hot tea all day in under 5 minutes.

I purchased the Perfectea maker because I was sick of my tea ball (not from Teavana) that did not do a good job filtering my tea. It was very easy to use, easy to clean and my tea tasted better than using the ball.

I ordered this on a whim and I am so glad I did! I have a tea ball (doesn't impress me), tea pots with mesh baskets (they work OK) but this tea maker allows you to make a good amount of tea for yourself or for you and a friend, and you can see it while it's steeping! Maybe this doesn't interest everyone, but I find it relaxing to see the the different types of tea steep and anticipate the drinking. I have the two cup size and I see there's a bigger model now, which would be great if there is more than one tea drinker in your house. I also recommend buying the tea timer. While this is a luxury and you can set your own timer at home, this is a no brainer for the price! Just push the button for green, white, black or herbal tea, hit start and that's it! And you can use it for other things to time, as there is a manual setting option, plus it's portable so you can carry it in your pocket if you want to.

I love this style of tea maker. It is quick clean and very easy, particularly at work. The fact that the filter is removable is VERY helpful for cleaning. While i am not a cleaning nut job, my previous one (cheap knock off) had a filter fused to the cup. When something finally managed to get back there I couldn't do anything but throw it away. (I tried to open through the bottom, but i just broke it that way).
My only complaint is that it clogs. The model that I bought this one to replace was a cheaper knock off, and although its overall quality is clearly not as good as Teavana's, it never clogged. If I have even a little bit more than suggested the flow stops as i try to pour it into a mug. I then have to take it off the mug swirl it around and then put it back on, in some cases, repeatedly. More of an annoyance than anything.

I have been using my Teavana Tumbler at least 5 times a day since I got it, and am in love it don't get me wrong, but you cant remove the tea particles from the bottom and then you get the bitter flavor, and putting the tea in the top and turning the tumbler over with hot water creates a mess both while upside down and when you turn it back over and remove the leaves because they get stuck. I decided to purchase the PerfecTea Maker in the hopes that I wouldn't have to suffer with bitter over steeped tea. I finally received my box yesterday and I almost lost my new PerfecTea Maker to the doctor I work with (she was the one that got me hooked on Teavana to start with), she was about to walk out the door with it. It works better than it says it does and by not over steeping my tea anymore I have been able to reuse my leaves a few extra times. I am kicking myself for not purchasing this sooner, and will be purchasing a few more so that I have one at home, each hospital I work at, and another for the doctor so I don't loose mine to her.

Very easy to use and very easy to clean. I love how all you have to do is put a cup on the bottom. It drains right into the cup. Easiest way to make steep loose tea.

I absolutely LOVE the perfect tea maker. In my personal opinion I think it's the easiest and most effective way to make loose leaf tea. I also have an infuser that I normally use when making my daily cup of tea, but I've recently switched over to the perfect tea maker because I find it more convenient. I'm actually going to give my infuser to a friend who's just getting into tea. Thank you for making such a wonderful product!

I received this as a Christmas gift about a month ago, and let me say I love it! Before receiving this, I drank probably 1-2 glasses of loose-leaf a month. Now, I drink 4-5+ a day!
This tea maker holds just the right amount of tea and ensures that no leaves enter into the cup. It's also lovely to watch your tea steep. A must-have.

When they say perfect tea maker, they MEAN it! Holy cow. It is SO simple to use and takes all the guess work out of making tea and I no longer have loose leaves in my cup! My husband loves using this over our infuser. He made the first cup and loved it. I may have to get another one for him to use so I can have one and he has one. The best thing is it fits perfectly over our 16 ounce tumblers we like to drink tea out of. This is the perfect gift for a novice tea drinker!
