I saw this in the store a couple of weeks ago when I was going for one specific item and fell in love with it. I ordered it online on Wednesday with some loose leaf that I had also tried (Earl Grey White and Earl Grey Creme - which is amazing)and wanted and it arrived on Monday (I used the free ground shipping) which was super fast delivery I thought. I got this for the office, because I live in Texas and it gets pretty darn hot so I like iced tea in the afternoon. I also wanted to try out the leak proof even if its stored sideways feature before I went all out and bought the bigger one for my home - and it does not leak one drop!Oh also the infuser is very very fine mesh so no worry about any kind of tea leaves getting into the pitcher. Great Product Teavana :)I will definately be recommending this to some friends and purchasing the larger one for my home. Happy sipping :)

I bought this infuser about 3 months ago to steep tea. It was a great buy at the time and I couldn't stop using it all. However after about 2 months, the mesh filter stained to a black and I wanted to buy a replacement filter just in case but could not. In addition, the top no longer seals tight. I never pour the water to the top, just about 3/4 full. After I sealed it shut, I accidently tilted it back and received a load of just boiled water all over my hand. Not the most pleasant experience.
It was good for a while but doesn't stay good.

Bought this product a week ago and have been using it everyday at work. Very easy to clean. I have been using it for hot tea and iced tea. Like that it's plastic so I don't have to worry about it breaking.

Drop in the tea leaves, pour in the water, seal the lid and throw in your briefcase/ bag for all day fresh tea convenience!
I throw this in my shoulder bag (sitting up cuz it will occasionally leak a tiny bit)and take it into the office every morning. I enjoy high quality tea and convenience at work all day long.
Only two real issues:
(1) Not dishwasher safe. Not a deal killer because it actually cleans out pretty quickly and easily. But if technology allows for creating dishwasher safe plastics (BPA free, of course) than it would be a worthwhile improvement.
(2) Doesn't keep the tea warm much longer than a couple hours. The design makes it perfect to take into the office, so a removable "beer cuzie" type of thing which insulates the clear bottom would be awesome.
Otherwise, if you like loose leaf teas, this is a must have.

Haven't got to try it yet but I can't wait. I needed something REALLY practical and this is it !!!! I don't know why but it doesn't seem to close all the way though. However, i DO like the lid as atleast i can go do errands and not worry about a fly or something getting in my tea. Like the mesh strainer for flavor BUT i do worry that it seems kind of flimsy. Overall, what i was looking for !!!! I basically didn't want an English "teapot" so i got this.Oh ya i can't wait to make cold tea in it for the summer !!!

I bought both the large and small pitcher. I love them. They are easy to use and the small one is just the perfect to take to work. I do wish they were insulated though, so the tea would stay hot for a while. My only complaint about this product is that the infuser has a solid plastic base, not a mesh bottom like others that Teavana sells. With the mesh bottom the tea can drain straight through. With the solid plastic bottom it will not drain well unless I tilt it sideways. The tea tends to stick to the bottom of the infuser and is harder to clean well. I like to brew my tea at least twice and I don't feel that the tea drains well between infusions. Otherwise, I love this pitcher. I often brew "extra" tea when traveling and the lid seals tightly and I don't have to worry about water from the melting ice in my cooler seeping into my tea.

I purchased this to use both at home and at work and it is amazing! It is a simple construction and the lid really is airtight! I've made both hot and cold teas in it and it's been fabulous! It is easy to clean out and I can always toss it in the dishwasher if I'm feeling lazy. It's also made it a lot easier to share tea at work. However, now I'll have to upgrade to the larger size since more people would like to have a cup of tea! :D I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

This infuser is made of high quality plastic and a good size for 1-2 people. Note that the actual infuser insert only goes about half way into the water carafe, which means that you have to use at least 12-14 ounces of water in order for it to even reach the tea leaves. I'll make a full carafe in the morning so that I can enjoy the tea throughout the day. Easy to rinse and clean.

I bought this pot in a Teavana store at the mall. The excellent sales person could have sold a hundred as she was so excited about this pot...how could I NOT buy one? I am SOLD! I really love this pot. It is warm (not HOT) to the touch, it doesnt stain and it's SUPER easy to use and clean. PLUS The handle is nonslip. I dont have to worry about my 3 year old granson getting burned if he touches the outside of the pot it! (he always wants to help). I really love it and my tea loves it!!

I love this! There is a chamber to keep the tea separate so I can refridgerate my iced fruit teas rsther than pour over ice. With the pineapple kona pop and blueberry bliss blend, I never remove the chamber because I like it extra stong. Excellent quality. I like how its 3 cups instead of 2 also. I want this in a 4 or 5, even larger size though for the whole family.

I prefer iced tea so I purchased this pitcher. I'm not a huge tea drinker so I bought the smaller size instead of the taller one, and crazy at it may sound, I don't think the taller one will fit well in our refrigerator. This is great for infusing the tea overnight. So far I've tried the blueberry bliss and youthberry with wild orange blossom and rock sugar. Yummy!
