Comments about Teavana Perfect Tea Kettle:
I have had this kettle for over a year and love it. Buying another for a friend. The handle stays cool. It is easy to clean. Stylish yet classic. This is as good as it gets.

Comments about Teavana Perfect Tea Kettle:
This teapot was a gift last spring and while it heats water very quickly and has a soothing whistle, I am disappointed in the operation of the spout cover. The inner hinge became undone after a few weeks, and once reconnected to the crossbar in the mechanism, no longer remains open when pouring. This has resulted in near burns from scalding water, boiling water splashing on the counter top around the cup and some frustration. I have resorted to using a wooden spoon or similar wooden tool to keep the spout cover open while pouring. I would love to exchange it or repair it, at least. When I mentioned my issue to the sales people at the local Teavana store, they offered to sell me another teapot! Aside from this irritating defect, the "perfect" teapot is almost perfect.

Comments about Teavana Perfect Tea Kettle:
Was fine for about a month. Now it leaks like crazy where the welds are. Will be calling Teavana for a refund on this item. LOVE Teavana teas, hate this kettle. I have also found the handle DOES get too hot but I would not have returned except for this leaky weld by the spout. It spews water now all over my stove, even before it boils :(

Comments about Teavana Perfect Tea Kettle:
This tea pot is fantastic because:
-It's 18/8 stainless steel, it leaves no rusty water inside if you leave the water in it a few days. (not the case with Cosco or Oxxo brands)
-The handle and spout (which pushes open) really work at the angle they are set.
-Perfect size for my family: not too big, not too small.
-Looks nice
-This last one point goes for the person who complained about the hot handle and gave this pot a lower rating. If the fire is up too high and surrounds the outer rim of the pot, it will heat up the handle. If you look at the bottom of the pot, the heat plate is recessed a good amount from the outer rim. Therefore, you must take care of how much fire you put underneath it. If not, you're wasting fuel and making the handle really hot. By the way, all of this is mentioned in the instructions that comes with the pot. Nonetheless, even if they have a "cool handle", it still is a tad too warm for me to pick up without a pot holder. But a pot holder is not going to make me give it a lower review. You won't find a finer stainless pot out there!

Very good kettle which is nickled plated steel. I have being mine for about a year and use it one to two times a day. It is well made and seems like it will last for years.

Comments about Teavana Perfect Tea Kettle:
My husband gave me this teapot as I am a new tea drinker. His first question to the saleswoman was "doesn't the handle get hot?" and she told him no, it stays cool. Upon first use I nearly burned my hard. I even have a holder I use for pot handles and tthe heat comes through that as well. I will be shopping for another teapot!
