I'm a college student without access to Teavana and with limited funds. Unfortunately, I have expensive tastes.
If you add up (this is for the 2011 listing; other years may change) the prices of all the teas, the 6-month will run you $280.
That's $280 to purchase the teas January-June in stores, 2oz each. So by purchasing that subscription, you're $20 down.
If you add up for the 1-year, it comes to $352 - in other words - $28 down.
However, I am going to purchase this for myself because I think of the extra $28 as being shipping costs. If I ordered these teas 2-by-2 every month, it would be more of a hassle and I would spend about $60 on shipping for the year. I also like the fact that I get the tea automatically.

This was such a great gift. I bought the 6 month package for my mom and also for myself. We live in different parts of the world and I thought this would be a good way to share an experience while being so far apart. The extent of our tea drinking was green tea and with this we have been able to try so many different white teas. It was well worth the price not only for the experience but also for the amount and quality of the tea. I have also noticed an improvement in my skin from drinking so much white tea! Thank you Teavana for providing this product and experience.
