Perfectea Glass Tea Mug

I purchased this cup to go with my new Pefect TeaMaker. It is a perfect fit, and I really enjoy the phrase etched into the side, "Make tea, not war."

I need another mug like I need a hole in the head, but I thought I needed a wide-mouth mug for my new Perfect Teamaker. My mug is cool. For the first time, I'm viewing the color of my tea and I don't suspect there will be any risk of stains unlike ceramic or porcelain mugs. My mug's seams are smooth and it's quite easy to transport a hot cup of tea due to generous finger room around the handle.

Just got my mug and like the quality. Fits perfedtly with Perfect II Teamaker. My only complaint is that it does not keep the tea warm long enough.

I bought this cup for my siser-in-law. She is very hard to buy for & I think she will love this.
I had to write my own review after reading one of the reviews saying the handle cut her THREE times.
I just double checked the one I got & it's hardly noticeable & no way in the world it could possibly cut someone. Maybe the reviewer got a defective one.
The mug is very comfy to hold & is larger than the regular cup.

Let me start out with the good. First of all, it's a very pretty cup, while being relatively simple. Secondly, I love the quote. Mine has one from Monty Python, which says "Make tea, not war." It's also durable.
There are a few things I have problems with, though. The seam on the handle is the biggest. It's very sharp, and it's cut my fingers at least 3 times. It doesn't seem like all that big of a deal at first, but when it's weighed down with tea, that little seam feels like a needle. Secondly, it's not double-walled like most of Teavana's glassware. The surface can be extremely hot. When added with the problem with the handle, you get a major problem. Now, it's not enough to make me want to take the thing back, but it's a serious design flaw.

Can't believe I was waiting at the mailbox for a mug but I was...Very sturdy...Im using it right now..love the frosted logo front and quote on the back .....good touch Teavana!

Not afraid to show this one off at work! I can officially retire my elmo mug (which I snatched from my then toddler..he's 17yrs old at present)...I am an adult now baby!! I look so grown!!

This works FABULOUS with the tea makers!!! My first glass cup I used for my precious teas. I was worried it wouldn't stay hot long, but I am able to slowly sip my morning oolong tea without having to reheat it! Definitely recommend to keep in your collection. I have a cast iron set, but this is great to use when I just have time for a quick serving! And honestly, I love the different sayings on them..helps me zen while drinking my tea!

I love this cup, I am a coffee drinker (pardon) and it makes a bad coffee taste good. On occassion I do have tea especially on a cold night and it makes the tea taste better than ever to me.We are traveling the country in a motorhome and they have stood up very well from the rough rides and use. Way to go.
