Carved Bamboo Tea Cup

This cup is so pretty, quite elegant. It is larger than I thought it would be and that is a plus. Unfortunately, it is too hot to handle with hot liquid inside. So, it will be part of my cabinet collection rather than a cup I would use regularly. I would recommend only for decor or for cooler drinks.

I received this as a gift, and it has become my favorite cup/mug in my cupboard.
The bamboo design is carved beautifully, and I love that it's made of stone because it gives it a really traditional, rustic feel.

The only con is that because there isn't a handle, you would have to wait a bit before trying to hold it if you poured hot water into it.

I just bought this cup yesterday so I can't comment on its' durability. However, I absolutely love the design and coloring of the cup. One thing I would say though is that when the water is first poured into the cup, it is too hot to handle for about 5-10 minute, and this is coming from someone who can generally handle really hot dishes that others can't. I haven't really had other ceramic dishes heat up quite as much as this cup does. Yet, for that one concern, I still think this is an absolutely lovely cup.
