I noticed several comments about how hot the cups are when the tea is still hot. When i bought my tea cups, the gentleman in the store suggested to buy another set of cups that fit inside of the other, just incase the inital cups are too hot to handle.

I usually nest 2 cups to maintain the heat, but the 2nd cup is not too hot to hold.

Cute cups and love the design...but difficult to hold when tea is hot and once they have cooled enough to hold the tea is too cool.

Comments about Teavana Dragonfly Cast Iron Tea Cup
:
I received a set of these pretty tea cups along with the matching cast iron tea pot and trivet. Very high quality cups!
They look beautiful sitting out as a set with the tea pot. I tend to not use them as often though because when filled with hot tea the cups are too hot to hold. By the time they've cooled enough to hold them, the tea has cooled too much as well. However, they're such a pretty part of the set that they complete the gift.

Comments about Teavana Dragonfly Cast Iron Tea Cup
:
I purchased this lovely little tea cup in two colors; burgundy/gold and black/gold - my tea pot is the burgundy koi and the combination makes a really pretty pond theme. This really is a lovely little tea cup and the weight of it feels very nice in one's hand.
