Zojirushi Gray Hot Water Dispenser

This is one of my favorite Zojirushi products. I never unplug the device and fill it with water almost daily. Never let it run dry and I even fill it with filtered water even though most just use tap.

The buying experience was just horrible though.

I just purchased this a few days ago, but wow! I love it, I use it in the morning to have a glass of tea before work and then I drink several cups when I get home. The timer is perfect for energy saving while I am not home and I am fairly certain that I will be buying another one of these to keep at my office. The difference in having tea at the right temperature is so apparent to me now. The only critique that I could give is that I do wish that it could get to different temperatures a little faster, I drink green tea and my daughter drinks black tea so if we are both drinking tea we have to wait a bit for the temp to set, but beyond that I would absolutely recommend this product.

Granted, this is a bit of a luxury item - hot water whenever you want for whatever you want! That being said, this thing is great! I've had it since summer and I keep it plugged in all the time, so I'm never waiting for hot water at just the right temp. I can't say how much tea I've "cooked" at too high a temperature with boiling water, in the microwave, tea kettle. I finally broke down and bought this as an early birthday present to myself. Every morning when I get up, I go right to it with my cup and tea and make my first cup without having to wait! That might seem silly, but it's really nice to just do it on auto pilot! I've had this machine for about three months and haven't had any issues with it. The plug on the back is kind of touchy and has disconnected several times just by rotating the machine a little. Just have to plug it back in (not the electric plug, the one that hooks into the back of the teamaker). Other than that, I am delighted with this item and highly recommend it! I also have the Breville $249 one and I love it, too. Great products!
