I bought 10lbs and I'll buy more
Absolutely delicious. It brings tea-drinking to a whole new level - it enhances the natural flavours and complexities of tea. I've bought 10lbs and I'll buy more once that supply depletes.

I like everything super-duper sweet. I swear to god there's NO sugar in these rocks!! I can put in tablespoons of this stuff, and I don't taste it. I don't feel like it makes my tea sweet AT ALL. I dunno, maybe I'm crazy. I'll find other ways to sweeten my tea. Forget this stuff!

This is great. I usually drink my tea unsweetened, so for me I love how light the flavor of this is. I usually add 5-6 rocks to a cup of tea and it sweetens it just a little without ruining the flavor of the tea. Due to the comparatively large surface area of the rocks, it does take a bit more stirring / waiting for them to dissolve than it would take plain granule sugar, but it's a small price to pay. I will be purchasing this again.

This sugar is delicious. I love it both in the tea or just as is:) And it looks great when serving, also a plus!
I like this because it is raw, but also because it is sweet, but not sickening. And I like the way it rattles around in the cup a little before melting, lol.

I normally use raw organic honey to add to my teas and stay away from any types of artificial sweeteners or regular sugars. I tried this sugar few days ago and now, this is the only sugar I use and love. It taste great in teas and even as a candy. Once you try, you will get addicted. :)

- Great for coffee and tea
I really like adding this stuff to my tea and coffee. Subtle flavors of both coffee and tea are enhanced with this sugar. Just remember to add it when the tea/coffee is really hot or it won't dissolve.
Pros
- Doesn't overshadow tea
- Great flavor

I should have listened to the store clerk about the German Rock Sugar. I bought some tea in the store, but thought I would use my own sweetener at home and work. Try as I may, I could not get the same great flavor as the store samples. My sugar and substitutes were overpowering the taste of the teas. I went back to the store the next day to buy a pounnd of the German Rock Sugar. It is amazing how great it makes the tea taste. It gives it just the right amount of sweetness.

- High Quality

I alternate between sweetened and unsweetened tea, and have been using regular sugar cubes or splenda for this but never liked the weird after taste. The german rock sugar is mellow, doesn't have the weird aftertaste, and lets the flavor of the tea shine through. On it's own it has a subtle maple taste that is a good alternative to digging into the candy dish when your sweet tooth is screaming for a fix. I absolutely love it. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't dissolve well if the tea isn't just off boil.

I have always sweetened my tea - hot or cold. And I have always been a fan of sugar. Though over the years, I've switched over to artificial sweeteners to save on calories. That was until I discovered German Rock Sugar and Teavana teas.
I had been given a sample of the German Rock Sugar with my first purchase from Teavana. I really enjoyed it in my cup of tea (and my kids really enjoyed eating it the sugar straight!) - but I was not sold right away on purchasing it. That didn't last long. I soon discovered that nothing sweetens high quality teas like German Rock Sugar. Not white sugar, not turbinado sugar, not any of the artificial sweeteners (and I have nothing against these), and not honey. German Rock Sugar just does it best. I've tried to explain it to my husband - the strictly black coffee drinker. German Rock Sugar truly enhances the flavors in high quality teas (and I've used it with other brands of high-quality tea). It sweetens the tea without adding flavor to the tea. It simply brings out the best of the flavors in the tea itself. I am totally hooked and will be keeping myself well stocked in my German Rock Sugar (and the kids know NOT to snatch it to eat as candy).
Pros
- Natural product
Cons
- Have to hide from kids
Best Uses

This sugar tastes as beautiful as it looks. I am looking forward to using it with guests, I think they will love it! It's true, it doesn't change the taste of the tea, it just adds a delicate sweetness.
