I bought 10lbs and I'll buy more
Absolutely delicious. It brings tea-drinking to a whole new level - it enhances the natural flavours and complexities of tea. I've bought 10lbs and I'll buy more once that supply depletes.

I like everything super-duper sweet. I swear to god there's NO sugar in these rocks!! I can put in tablespoons of this stuff, and I don't taste it. I don't feel like it makes my tea sweet AT ALL. I dunno, maybe I'm crazy. I'll find other ways to sweeten my tea. Forget this stuff!

I alternate between sweetened and unsweetened tea, and have been using regular sugar cubes or splenda for this but never liked the weird after taste. The german rock sugar is mellow, doesn't have the weird aftertaste, and lets the flavor of the tea shine through. On it's own it has a subtle maple taste that is a good alternative to digging into the candy dish when your sweet tooth is screaming for a fix. I absolutely love it. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't dissolve well if the tea isn't just off boil.

I have always sweetened my tea - hot or cold. And I have always been a fan of sugar. Though over the years, I've switched over to artificial sweeteners to save on calories. That was until I discovered German Rock Sugar and Teavana teas.
I had been given a sample of the German Rock Sugar with my first purchase from Teavana. I really enjoyed it in my cup of tea (and my kids really enjoyed eating it the sugar straight!) - but I was not sold right away on purchasing it. That didn't last long. I soon discovered that nothing sweetens high quality teas like German Rock Sugar. Not white sugar, not turbinado sugar, not any of the artificial sweeteners (and I have nothing against these), and not honey. German Rock Sugar just does it best. I've tried to explain it to my husband - the strictly black coffee drinker. German Rock Sugar truly enhances the flavors in high quality teas (and I've used it with other brands of high-quality tea). It sweetens the tea without adding flavor to the tea. It simply brings out the best of the flavors in the tea itself. I am totally hooked and will be keeping myself well stocked in my German Rock Sugar (and the kids know NOT to snatch it to eat as candy).

This sugar tastes as beautiful as it looks. I am looking forward to using it with guests, I think they will love it! It's true, it doesn't change the taste of the tea, it just adds a delicate sweetness.

I really enjoy this sugar. It's appropriate for all teas. However, I have enjoyed a lot with Chai and Maté teas. I've yet to try with white, herbal or black but I will soon.

I tried this in the store with a fruity tea. I really like the natural taste, like sugar in the raw but sweeter. It tastes best in hot tea, but it would probably make iced tea taste good as well. I have a sweet tooth so it takes more than usual to sweeten my cup. I now use smaller cups, like the ones that came with my Yixing red oval plum blossom tea set.

Ever since I stepped foot into my local Teavana store I have learned so much about tea. Before I never thought there was a science to making tea. Now I'm much more educated and my tea tastes so much better *smile*. One thing I use to struggle with was getting just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the tea flavor. At Teavana I tried the German Rock Sugar and my struggles were over *lol*. This sugar pairs perfect with tea and honestly just a little goes a long way. So if you struggle with just the right sweetness in your tea then I suggest you give this Rock Sugar a try ;).

Tried it with Youthberry White Tea and Wild Orange Blossoms mixture and have been hooked ever since. Espresso was my cup of tea - not anymore! It has replaced regular sugar in my life and so I feel lighter, healthier and rejuvenated. It gives tea a very unique and distinctive flavor. Definitely hooked! Have raved about it to friends and coworkers!

I just came across a Teavana in my shopping area and what a delight! I drink tea daily, hot or cold. Not a fan of coffee, tea does it for me. I'm becoming more health conscious as I get older and have begun to reduce my use of artificial sweeteners. Coming across Teavana and being introduced to the German Rock Sugar was the highlight of my shopping day. Only a few rock sugars added just enough sweetness to the tea without overpowering the flavor. Like another reviewer stated, I'd rather add a few more minutes on the treadmill to enjoy the natural flavor of the sugar. Teavana, you have a diehard fan!

A while back I had bought some Samurai Chai Mate, followed all the direction exactly, then added in some regular sugar to sweeten it. The results were unimpressive. Going back, one of the staff let me know that for this tea to really shine I needed to use the German Rock Sugar. They were so right. It tastes so good now that even my non-tea drinker brother enjoyed it.

Just try it. You will NEVER use regular sugar in your tea again! A little goes a long way! Thanks Teavana store for bringing this great product to my attention.
