White Russian Mate

White Russian Mate
(makes 3 servings)
 
8 tsp My Morning Mate tea
16oz water
5 tsp German Rock Sugar simple syrup
Baileys Irish Crème
Vodka
Cream

 
Steep tea 10 minutes. Chill thoroughly. In a cocktail shaker, combine 3oz tea, 1oz Baileys Irish Crème, 1oz Vodka, 1oz cream, & five ice cubes. Shake well & strain into glass.
 
Tip: Drizzle chocolate syrup in a shot or martini glass & add chocolate shavings on top.
 
Youthberry Pinot Grigio Sangria
(makes two 32oz pitchers)
 
6 tsps Youthberry white tea
2 bottles of white wine (room temperature)
½ cup German Rock Sugar simple syrup
Fresh fruit slices (any that you can find that is in the tea itself that will not disintegrate in liquid macerating overnight)
2 apples thinly sliced
1 pineapple thinly sliced
1 case of strawberries sliced
1 Meyer lemon sliced in circles
1 lime sliced in half moon shape

 
A great sangria is essentially created by using the best wine one can afford and using the freshest fruit. Serving iced cold is key!
 
Prepare German Rock Sugar simple syrup. Brew Youthberry (6 teaspoons tea to 2 cups of 175 F water – steep 2 min.) Let cool.In a clear glass bowl or iced tea pitcher, combine white wine, simple syrup and brewed tea. Slice selected fruit to edible pieces and add to bowl. Let the fruit macerate in tea liquor overnight in refrigerator. (If pressed for time, min. 4-6 hours)
 
Serve chilled or even over ice!
 
Tip: Try substituting this recipe with any fruity Teavana tea. Great recommendations: Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry Riot Mate.

Tip #2: Pinot Grigio is best but any white wine can be substituted. Recommended: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay
 
Raspberry Martini
Raspberry Riot Teatini
(makes 2 servings)
 
6 tsp Raspberry Riot Lemon Mate
2 tsp Lemon Youkou tea
1/2 tsp Peppermint tea
5 tsp German Rock Sugar simple syrup
4 oz Vodka

 
Combine teas, 16 oz of water & steep 10-12 minutes at 208˚ . Chill thoroughly. In a cocktail shaker, combine Tea, Rock Sugar simple syrup, Vodka & five ice cubes. Shake well & strain into glass.
 
Tip: Make it special & garnish with mint and fresh raspberries.
Tip #2: In a hurry? Make your tea iced first. Just double up the tea.

 

Red, White & Blueberry Mojito
Red, White & Blueberry Mojito
(makes 2 servings) 
 
4 tsp Blueberry Bliss tea
4 tsp Strawberry Lemonade 
6 oz White rum
1 oz German Rock Sugar simple syrup
1/4 cup blueberries
Club soda
Lime, freshly squeezed
Fresh mint leaves

1/4 cup fresh blueberries
Club soda
Lime, freshly squeezed
Fresh mint leav 

 

Combine teas with 6oz white rum & steep to desired strength. Add blueberries, simple syrup, fresh mint leaves, & lime juice. Muddle. Add 2oz tea infusion & crushed ice. Top off with club soda. Garnish with lime, mint & strawberry slice.
