Teavana Store Samples
Your local Teavana stores offers delicious samples of certain teas. This guide will help you make the teas at home (or figure out which tea you tasted). To taste these teas, find the Teavana nearest you here. Below are our sample teas along with instructions for making these tea blends.

Chai/Chai tea blend:

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 2 minutes.

 

Youthberry/Wild Orange Blossom tea blend:

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 2 minutes.

 

Lavender Sage Opus Rouge tea blend:

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 2tsp of each tea and 3tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 205 degrees (just below boiling) and steep for 5 minutes.

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea, use 4 tsp of each tea & 5 tsp of rock sugar. Steep tea with sugar in 10 ounces of water (at 208 degrees) for 5 minutes, then cool/dilute by pouring strained tea over ice.

 

Monkey Picked Oolong tea (in cast iron teapot):

Instructions:
Use 2tsp of tea per 16oz of water. Heat water to 195 degrees and steep for 3-4 minutes.

Instructions:
Use 2tsp of tea per 16oz of water. Heat water to 195 degrees and steep for 3-4 minutes.
   

 

Iced Fruta Pomegranate tea blend (our iced tea sample):

Instructions:
For 16oz of tea: In a Perfect Tea Maker, put 3tsp of Apple Lemon Pomegranate and 5tsp of Rock Sugar. Heat water to 208 degrees and pour to just over where the handle attaches (around 12oz of the water) to the Tea Maker. Steep for 5 minutes and allow the remaining water to cool slightly (to around 175 degrees). After that, add 3tsp of the Fruta Bomba and the remaining water. Steep for another 3 minutes. Drain over ice.
