Citrus Lavender Sage Opus Rouge is our newest store blend and available to sample this summer in any of our stores.
The Blue Infusion Pitcher is perfect for taking with you, wherever you go! It makes 66 ounces of tea and is also made of BPA-free plastic.
When making iced tea, we double the amount of tea used (in this case, its 3 teaspoons of each tea per every 8oz of water) in order to make a tea concentrate which ensures the flavor of the tea will not dilute when poured over ice. This 66oz pitcher actually makes eight 16 oz glasses of iced tea with enough for refills!
Add the German Rock Sugar to the pitcher instead of inside the infuser. This will allow the sugar to fully dissolve for consistent sweetness in each cup.
Untwist the infuser from the Blue Infusion Pitcher and remove strainer.
Add ¼ cup (or 12 PerfecTea Spoons) of German Rock Sugar to the pitcher and around a ¼ cup of boiling water. Stir until all sugar is dissolved.
Unscrew the infuser from the lid and add 12 teaspoons of Opus Rouge and 12 teaspoons of Citrus Lavender Sage. Roughly 1.5 teaspoons per 8 ounces of water.
Preset Perfect Tea Timer to 10 minutes.
Add 208 degree boiling water.
Screw the infuser back onto the lid tightly.
Slowly submerge the infuser in the pitcher and start the timer.
When your tea is done steeping, remove the strainer and either pour over ice or store in your refrigerator. Once completely cool, the pitcher can be stored on its side.
