Join our Master Teaologist, Naoko, as she demonstrates how to prepare our popular tea blend, Blueberry Kona Pop, in our Tristan Infuser Pitcher.
Blueberry Kona Pop tea blend is one of our most popular summer blends and available to sample this summer in any of our stores.
The Tristan Infuser Pitcher makes 64 ounces of tea and is made out of borosilicate glass with a flexible silicon base that keeps moisture away from your counter top.
When making iced tea, we double the amount of tea used (in this case, its 3 teaspoons of each tea per every 8oz of water) in order to make a tea concentrate which ensures the flavor of the tea will not dilute when poured over ice. This 64oz pitcher actually makes 8 16oz glasses of iced tea!
Add the German Rock Sugar to the pitcher instead of inside the infuser. This will allow the sugar to fully dissolve for consistent sweetness in each cup.
Remove the tea infuser from the pitcher.
Add ¼ cup of German Rock Sugar (or 12 PerfecTea Spoons) to the pitcher and around a ¼ cup of boiling water. Stir until all sugar is dissolved.
After the sugar has melted, place the infuser back in the pitcher.
Add 12 teaspoons of Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea and 12 teaspoons of Pineapple Konapop Herbal Tea (roughly 1.5 teaspoons of each tea per 8 ounces of water).
Preset Perfect Tea Timer to 10 minutes.
Add 208 degree boiling water, close the lid and start timer.
When ten minutes has passed, your tea is ready to serve.
