I just got my Tea Voyager Travel Kit in the mail. I wanted to do this review because there weren't any yet. Here are my first impressions:
The neoprene case seems very well constructed. The case, which you can't tell from the pictures, has two neoprene tubes: one for the scoop/infuser tube and one for the two canisters to be stacked end to end. (See picture--I included a 3oz canister for sizing reference). It then wraps around and closes with velcro. The travel canisters are small, but would be perfect for a short trip, when you just can't bear to be without your loose tea! The whole thing is about 8'' tall x 3'' wide x 2'' deep.
The infuser stick comes inside a tall tube that is lined in foam to protect it from dings during travel. The infuser end comes apart to reveal a scoop shape and a basket to deposit tea into. (See picture) The holes are very small and will likely let very tea out, if any. My instinct is that the sloped shape may be difficult to clean, but I haven't tried it yet.
I am away at college, so I look forward to not having to drag big canisters and the tea maker home with me for the weekend. This will do the job perfectly!

This little gadget is awesome if you are...let's say... camping... and absolutely NEED to have tea. You can carry two types of tea with you in the small tins, and use the infuser in just about any cup you have lying around. The only problem i have with this set is the infuser. The infuser comes in two pieces; a handy scoop/handle, and a strainer (so the tea leaves don't get into your cup). However, the holes in the strainer, and the holes at the top of the scoop are two different sizes! The ones on the scoop are too big and let tiny pieces of tea leaves seep into the cup. The only way I found to remedy this is to hold the infuser partially above water, so the particles don't filter out the top. A pain in the butt, but it works. Maybe that's the way this is meant to be used… but I would have thought it would be used like any infuser…drop it in the water and walk away. Unless you don't mind tea leaf bits in your drink, you'll be sitting there holding this infuser the whole brew time. Other than that its an awesome thing to have on hand if you want loose leaf tea in a pinch.

Pros
- Portability
Cons
- Allows Small Tea Into Cup
- Does Not Infuse Well
Best Uses
- Away from Home
I bought this portable tea infuser for use at work and travel for convenience. I like the portability, being able to take my favorite 2 teas with me and the small carrying case. However the small holes in the infuser are too big and allow much of the thistle type teas to escape into your glass of tea which is very annoying to the point where I would strain it through a cheese cloth if I could before drinking it. It is in no way in comparison to my original tea infuser (the one that fits on the cup that was a gift set for Christmas - that one is AMAZING and got me hooked!).

- Convenient
Cons
- Bad Design

I use this whenever I travel. The only glitch is drying out the tea scoop/infuser between uses. As with anything, you need to make sure that is thoroughly dry. But this is my perfect solution to bad tea when traveling. I keep my favorite green tea in one tin and herbal infusion in the other. The tins are big enough to take >1 wk supply, but small enough that it is still easy enough to pack. Love it!

I travel regularly and love to carry some of my tea with me. The scoop and infuser combination is great, if you can guess how much you are scooping out, otherwise it's a total guessing game. The biggest problem I have with the set is the velcro on the pouch wore out VERY quickly through regular use. I've put a button on there in place of the velcro to make it close.

Pros
- Good Size
- Looks good
- Sturdy
Cons
- No markings on scoop
- Tins open easily
Best Uses

I haven't had it long, but the tins and the infuser feel sturdy. The stitching on the case seems well done, so I anticipate having this set for quite awhile. The infuser works well, and the whole set is easy to use. All together, it's about the same height as a normal travel tumbler, and a bit thinner, but wider. There's cushioning in the tin for the infuser, so it doesn't get dinged up or make any noise.
There are a couple drawbacks:
• The tins open fairly easily. It's not a huge problem, but you have to be careful taking them out of the case. I just put them end to end and haven't had any problems.
• There aren't any markings on the scoop, so you have to gauge amounts by sight.
The infuser stick does not work. It lets lots of the tea into the cup. I am not satisfied with this, especially because of the price of it. Other than that, it works well for on the go. It's small enough to fit into my purse. I would recommend bring along tea bags with it if you are going to buy this.

I've been traveling a lot this year, and am so tired of putting everything in plastic bags, trying to find all the tea ingredients and parts scattered all over my purse. I would pay the purchase price just to have the scooper and strainer in one device, as you have done. You must have read our minds! Thanks for that!
Pros
- Aesthetic
- Compact
- Durable
Cons
- Needs better lids

I love the feel of this nice little kit. The build of the infuser is sturdy and does the job well. The size of the kit is easy enough to take anywhere. I like the color scheme, and the way the product feels.
Cons: my only concern is that there is no seal ring or screw top for the 2 included tea containers.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. Best birthday gift tea-wise. :)

I am a teacher and wanted to be able to make tea at work and this does the trick. I tried bringing a full infuser, but bringing it home was a soggy mess. The infuser/spoon works well and hasn't warped like some cheap infusers do. When I am done with it, it goes right back in its own tin and no mess. The two small tea tins holds enough for 2-3 mugs each assuming you do not resteep. Also I was able to put a small sugar container from a camping kit into the infuser tin and my thermometer along the side of the kit. I keep it in my desk but the whole thing is about the size of a sandwich tupperware so it would fit inside most adult lunch boxes.
